Arrived in perfect condition, easy to put together (base and top), both my cats love it straight away, using all beds and scratching it from the get go

I really like this post, I have various traditional large posts which my cats love to scratch, this one is in my living space as it's quite compact and has safe places for my cats to sleep (I have 6 cats), when I fostered kittens they loved this too as it offered nice dark places to sleep and different levels to climb as they got braver.

Wood top arrived with some damage to the edge, leaving splinters, so that wasn’t the best start. It just highlighted that a cat jumping up, was going to damage the wood over time, which could potentially leave cat injured. The cushion on top is held on by a few velcro strips only, not very secure at all. For both the damage and the poor design I requested to return the barrel for a refund, which was accepted. I have replaced with the Diogenes cat barrel which is a much better design.

My cats still enjoy this barrel and the main body has stood the test of time however the basket on top has been a problem. It did not stand up to a stropping cat - it very quickly went to a hole. This could be a problem if your cat is likely to chew the filling. Unfortunately Zooplus don't supply replacement baskets and getting one this size is a problem - may be easier for the larger size barrels. It looks like I'm going to have to make a basket...if my sewing skills are up to it!

Our kitten absolutely loves it and it looks and seems a lot more expensive. It's great being able to wash the bed and inners. I'd definitely recommend.

I was looking for a duel purpose cat scratcher. Firstly I wanted a tall scratching post for my large cat and a bed for my other cat who likes to hide. Downside for me is that my cats think it's furniture so won't use it as a scratching post. It does look very smart. It's sturdy and well made. Mine isn't like the photo as in the top bed is sewn on so can't be washed,shame,and the middle hole is not a bed it's just a hole. I would still recommend this but think the photos need updating.

Bought this product for my 15 week old ragdoll kitten as I wanted something that would still be appropriate as he grows. I was very impressed with this as it looks very smart and not out of place in a sitting room. The three tiers of openings are very roomy (at the moment he looks lost inside them), and he is now able to climb onto the top and loves to snooze on it. Excellent product which will be moved next to the patio doors for some summer bird watching in a few months.

Great, sturdy cat tree. It looks really impressive and my furry friends took to it straight away. I think it's fantastic!

Unfortunately, after just a few weeks, the first rattle has already come off.

Nice-looking scratching post design-wise, but the cushion doesn't stay in place at all. I had to nail it down to the wooden board underneath to stop my cat from falling off... so the price and quality don't really match up.

We ordered the largest scratching barrel. Even our Maine Coons (8 kg) fit comfortably in the hideouts! It looks stylish and high-quality. The barrel stands firmly. If the cat is happy, the human is happy too 😊 I really can't understand the negative reviews. If I find more space in the house, I'll definitely order another one. Clear recommendation to buy!

Great and beautiful scratching barrel... the play balls aren't really necessary. If you include them, they should be attached better and more securely... we took them off because our cat tore one down... unfortunately, they were only fixed with staples, so I'm taking off one star for that. Otherwise, everything else is top notch.

I’ve always bought Natural Paradise scratching posts for their quality and design, but this time I’m giving 2 stars. Even though the structure is well made, the materials inside and the cushions are really poor quality. The top cushion keeps fraying: this is already the fifth time I’ve had to sew it near the seams and in other spots. My cats really like it, both as a scratching post and as a resting area in the niches, but the fabric definitely needs to be improved.

It's okay, but it's a shame there's no sewn-in bed, just a loose one that's too small and the hard plywood surface is left exposed. We removed the round plywood from the bottom because it scratched the vinyl.

The scratching post itself is great! Really well made, but the problem is the cushion on top. My previous scratching post had much stronger Velcro and the cushion never fell off, not even once. Here, on the other hand, my cat can be lying on it (and you know—cats don’t always curl up in a perfect circle) and end up falling because the cushion comes off.

My cats are really happy with this scratching barrel, it's sturdy and stable, perfect for my mega big cat :)
