Excellent scratch post, well made and strong. Had mine for 3 years now an still looks brand new. My 10 cats love it. My Sphynx are very energetic an dive on this post. They love the 3 hide holes. This one took some strength to carry up to my apartment! It is very large and solid, and I think represents good value. There's loads of scratching surface, a comfy bed at the top and hiding places with a dangling toy (which my cat ignores, but that's just her). Mine is by the window and creates a good perch for bird-watching. I only have one cat but this one would be perfect for two or more, particularly the bottom two holes which are connected and would be ideal for play-fights.

Really sturdy and well made. The cats seem to enjoy taking a run up to scratch it and they can certainly have a good stretch against it. The top cushioned area is very popular. Our cats haven't shown much interest in the cave or lower levels yet but these are handy places to store their other toys. Well worth the money. Looks nice around the home too.

now i'm not the kind of guy that buys this kind of stuff too often but thought it might be fun for our newest recruits Little Ben and Oscar ... boy was i right ! we have 6 cats and since the barrel came it has had constant attention even from the oldies (Pig and Jess are now 15) even wild cat Duke has made it his guilty pleasure !

Aesthetic, takes up little space but offers a great surface for our cat's claws.

Unfortunately, this is just my opinion, not my cat’s :( It’s sturdy, has plenty of space for scratching claws, and the little hideouts are interesting for play, but sadly, I don’t think my cat has shown interest in it more than five times since I bought it last October. It’s a shame, because it looks perfect. I’ll probably donate it to a family with more kittens—maybe it will be more interesting for little ones :)

Very good product! She was hesitant at first but now she happily jumps up when I’m working (placed next to my desk). I’ll probably get another one for the kitchen.
