I've had this great piece for 2 years now. Still looks good and shows no signs of wear. The cats use it daily for scratching. It could be a millimetre wider so it doesn't slip out of the compartment so easily.

The lounging spot is very popular with our three cats, and they sometimes argue over it. That's why we're ordering this Trixie bed again today.

Both of my cats immediately took to the lounging area and now have a new favourite spot. The scratching bed is a great climbing option for reaching their new sleeping quarters.

Spacious, sturdy, easy to recommend

Looks great and fits perfectly. The cat likes it too and happily uses both the sleeping spot and the scratching board.

The bed fits perfectly into our Kallax shelf, doesn’t wobble and doesn’t slide around. The scratching board is a big hit, and the bed has already been made cosy :) We’re very happy with it.

On the one hand, the little bed is a bit too small for Kallax – so it slides around a bit. The bed itself is very thinly padded and quite hard. Our cats only accepted it with an additional cushion. But with that, they do lie in it more often at night (it’s placed next to our bed). The scratching board wasn’t used at all. Apparently, it wasn’t recognised as a scratching board. Even with catnip spray, we couldn’t get them interested in it.

Fast delivery and easy assembly. The material feels fluffy around and inside the sleeping areas. The included cat cushion, which fits perfectly, has a practical zip. Our cats love being in the kids' room and, from the Kallax shelf, always have a view of the chaos.

Updated Review - (Faraaz K) Perhaps I was a bit too keen and posted my previous review before my cat was able to get used to his new bed because he seems to have fallen in love with this! I've posted an image to show how comfortable he is in it too. He makes sure to sleep in it every night and although it looks like it isn't big enough to fit him, he seems incredibly comfortable and content... This really has been one of the best purchases I've ever made.

It's a bit too small for the Kallax shelf. Needs to be fixed in place, otherwise it slides out. I even added some extra padding to it. Otherwise, it's very hard.

The bed is of a great build but my cat isnt interested. It's also a little too big for both the IKEA and B&M shelving unit which is unfortunate.

Very nice addition to our Kallax shelf, but unfortunately, our two cats have mostly ignored it so far. At least they scratch the board from time to time.

I ordered the bed for my boys, hoping they would stop taking over the rest of the Kallax, no matter whether there’s already stuff in it or not, and stop throwing out books etc. when climbing out. They accepted the bed straight away, and I achieved my goal 😊

Lovely looking and my cat seems to love it. She's happy to sleep there at all times

Received today and set up, and my big one went straight in and has plenty of space to sleep.

It’s very well received, but it slides forward when playing.

My cats love lying on it and scratching it.
