Cat bed

Slightly smaller than expected, one of my cats will use it but the other will not.

Good value for money

This is great for 8 quid, small but not too small, perfect for corners of the room. My smaller cats play with it there 11 months old MC and my adult ones lounge on it hanging off but make it work. All quite solid, quite chunky scratch post. Il get a few more for other rooms

Lightweight

If your cat weighs more than 1 kilograms AVOID this scratcher. This is not for big cats and it’s extremely easy to knock over and get hurt - because this is exactly what happened to my cat. Don’t recommend

Brilliant quality cat scratcher/bed

My kittens and my cat absolutely love this !!! It’s perfect and you can’t get better on the price! Zoo plus never fail on quality and price thank you !!

Good for sitting but not for scratch

It is not stable so cat did not use to scratch but he enjoy to sit on it,

This has shrunk - the Brexit effect?

I purchased one of these scratch posts in October 2016 and my 2 cats loved it so much and it was so well used that the sisal started to unravel so I promptly ordered another one. I was very disappointed to find it had shrunk, not only is it shorter, the sisal post is narrower and the seat on the top is tiny, it wouldn't fit a regular adult cat, and yet it is the same price. Strictly for kittens only.

Smaller than it used to be

Have purchased a couple of these previously for my two cats, however when my recent order turned up I was disappointed to see that the cat post has now shrunk by about one third. It's now got a really small seat at the top, it's too short for my cats to stretch and scratch properly and is too light in weight with a ridiculously small base so that when it is jumped on, it topples over. Definitely wouldnt recommend unless you have a very small, light adult cat or have kittens.

Bad design

Very top heavy when my cats jumped on it the whole thing tipped over. Every time my cats scratch it, it tips over...useless for an average cat, may be ok for small cats.

My cat loves this

I purchased this cat tree as it was just the right height to allow my cat to look out of the window when he is on it. He loves it, he uses it as a scratch post, a lookout post and to sleep on. It looks nice in our front room in the neutral grey colour and is ideal for small front rooms due to the space saving design. It is study and the scratch post bit is thick and therefore not likely to snap under the weight of a cat. Highly recommended to smaller cats like mine.

Not suitable for my cats

This is a very attractive tree, and our cats liked lying under it and playing with the ball, and using the scratch post. However, when they jumped on to it it fell over, so I am looking for someone with a smaller cat to pass it on to. I have still given five stars, as there is nothing wrong with the tree...just that my cats are too big and boisterous for it!

highly reccomended

just receieved this today.such excellent value for money.very easy to assemble and although i intended it for my kittens my adult cats have sat on the top too.the seats too small for my norwegian forest cat but big enough for my average sized moggies.my kittens are playing tennis with the pompom ball, the scratching post is much chunkier than i thought tooi think il order another one

This is great, it's saved my furniture!!

We have three of these now dotted throughout the house and it really has saved our furniture. With the variety on offer and many places to scratch at now available, the cats focus their attention on doing their stretches and scratches on the these (as well as one large cat tree and two cat scratchers). We got these on sale for about half price so it wasn't expensive to get all three, especially considering the wear and tear it is saving on our furniture and our carpets!! They occasionally use the top part to perch in but they generally prefer their bigger tree since it's an option, but I think without any choices they'd sleep in the top part. There can be a bit of movement on these as they are so small and an energetic pounce can topple them though this has only happened once. Otherwise there is sometimes a bit of movement across the floor with it. The little balls are batted about til they fall off, and then they bat the loose balls about til they disappear and occasionally nibble on the loose bit of elastic. Wear and tear wise, it's done well, other than the ball/elastic bit which does not last long.

Useless

It would be nice if everything fit perfectly, but that's not the case—it's super unstable and always falling apart. Never again.

Scratching post

Overall, it's a really nice scratching post and a good spot for my little Devon Rex cat to sit, but it's already getting a bit too small. The construction is sturdy. I’m taking off one star because of the size. For this price, I recommend it.

Super cute

It was meant for my cigarettes, but my three-year-old cat really likes it too.

Surprisingly sturdy!

Small in size, but surprisingly sturdy when my 5 kg cats can sharpen their claws without it tipping over.

Pleasantly surprised

I thought they wouldn't use it, but one of my cats discovered the scratching part, and ever since, whenever she walks past it, she always scratches it. And as for the lying spot, there's a constant battle for it 🙂

They love it, I just have to be careful that it doesn't break so quickly.

Decent scratching posts.

I've bought this scratching post before. Now (after a few years) the previous ones were so scratched up, so I got new ones. I keep them by the corners of the sofa, so the cats scratch these instead of the sofa. Comes in 3 parts, easy to assemble.

Comfortable but not for long

My young kittens, who were three months old at the time, liked to lie on it. Of course, I had alternatives, so it wasn’t used that often. Unfortunately, after 40 days of active use, the mounting broke yesterday. I can’t screw it back in, so I’d like to make a complaint about the whole thing.

Cannot be assembled.

The screw at one end of the scratching post can't be screwed in because it's too short, and there are hooks that are supposed to be attached but it doesn't work. Also, there's no washer for the underside.

Very poor quality

I bought the small scratching post a little over a year ago for a 3.5-month-old kitten. The boards are so poorly made that the fittings just broke off during assembly. Big shout-out to Zooplus – they sent me a replacement without any fuss at all. As a scratching post, it was only used for a short while since it’s really quite small, but it ended up being used as a step for jumping up to the window. Unfortunately, about two weeks ago, the scratching post fell apart again, with the fittings ripping out once more.

Good

Works for us as a "step" between the high bed and the floor. Really good otherwise, but too light for an adult cat. It wobbles and tips over easily. Definitely suitable for kittens.

Worth the price

Perfect for adolescent and smaller cats, it holds up well to rough play. Totally worth the money!
