very popular
The most popular of the purchasable boxes :) Both love lying on it. Getting the balls out of it was super quick.

Goes down well :)
My 4 cats love playing with it. Even the lazy Persian tomcat tries to fish the balls out. Unbeatable for the price. I’ll reorder it straight away if it breaks :)

young cats love it
Within seconds Echo was on fishing out the balls, but no scratching as yet ( he' a carpet scratching fiend ) Once off of it , it was Soffi's turn and wa rolling around & scratching ! Shes the wallpaper scratching fiend, so I have high hopes that both will be using this as their only place to scratch to their hearts content & give my decor & carpets a rest.....

Quite funny
Our cats actually all use it, all five of them,
taking turns lying on it.
One of them – the youngest – is the quickest
and manages to get the jingling ball out within a few seconds :-)

Surprised this was so popular with our cats - may need two!
I was sceptical that our cats would pay this any attention, let alone scratch on it. How wrong I was! Both like it, and didn't need the enticement of the catnip to use it. I found when I did sprinkle that on, it just fell through into the box, which was a bit messy. They have both been successful in getting the belled balls out of the holes, but it is the scratching part they seem to enjoy most.

Well Used by multiple animals
Bought this for our 3 cats who all love to lie on it and scratch it. One is now very adept at fishing the balls out of the holes, but our African Grey parrot is also very attracted to it but he is a bit more destructive, as he loves to chew this type of card, as well as fishing the balls out. So I am getting another so they won't need to fight over it. Our baby rats like it too, while they can still fit through the holes!

Breaks far too quickly, otherwise it would be worth 5 stars.
The Scratch & Play is a nice idea. My cat loved it and often lay on it to sleep. Unfortunately, the corrugated cardboard doesn’t hold up well and was bent in the middle after a short time.
In less than 3 weeks, it was already completely scratched up.
Such a shame.

Super!!!
Affordable, simple, but brilliant toy!!! All cats love it. The little ones enjoy fishing it out, while the big ones love scratching and lying on it. Perfect!!!

Too clever
My tomcat immediately got the ball out, and after that, it was completely ignored, not even used as a scratching board :(

Super product!
I gave it to my two tomcats for Christmas. Both were absolutely thrilled, although one of them was firmly convinced that it was only his gift and often chased the other away at the beginning ;) ! Nowadays, the second one is allowed to use it too :) . They both love it, and so far, it’s held up brilliantly. I also bought a second one and took it to the animal shelter—I hope the cats there enjoy it as much as my two do!

Great!
Our two British Shorthair tomcats were immediately thrilled with this great and affordable toy! So far, neither of them has "given up" on it. We have quite a bit of "cat entertainment" here that gets ignored... but this box is practically under siege!

Simply perfect - Fun and fitness for everyone
My two Norwegian mix cats absolutely love it when I hide their treats in this puzzle box. Every now and then, the little ball gets fished out, and I’m loudly meowed at to catch it and put it back in the box – happily for hours on end. It’s a bit of a workout for me too! ;)

Plate broke quickly
My two cats were absolutely thrilled with the toy. Anything made of corrugated cardboard is always a hit here. Unfortunately, it didn’t last a month, as the top panel broke through. Such a shame.

- Very popular; good toys don't have to be expensive
The scratching furniture is very popular with our 15-year-old house cat. She scratches away enthusiastically, uses it as a seat, and constantly keeps an eye out for the jingle balls hidden inside the casing, which she then fishes out with her claws and tosses across the room.
It gets even more exciting when we thread a feather wand or a pipe cleaner through the side holes into the top openings and pull it back again. The cat then sits on top and strikes lightning-fast.
TIP: The scratching furniture is (without the cat) very lightweight and often gets pushed around the room during claw sharpening. We solved this by attaching self-adhesive "anti-slip pads," and now the furniture stays in place, which our old girl prefers.

Great....
My cat is thrilled, which isn’t so easy to achieve with her^^ she plays, scratches, and even sleeps on it. JUST a great piece.

Great idea, but not sturdy enough
A great idea for scratching and playing, but the cardboard gives way quickly in the middle – perfect for kittens and lightweight cats – for adult, average-weight cats, it's only a short-lived bit of fun.

Great product
I can only agree with the previous reviews. A great product for this price. Our two were thrilled from the very first moment and play with it extensively. Adding a few treats in the holes now and then for them to fish out increases the fun factor even more.

Scritch-Scratch even before the catnip!
This arrived just today and as soon as I'd taken it out of the packing and placed it on the floor, Trixie was on it, scratching away!
I was surprised as I thought I'd need the catnip to encourage but it must be just the right height and shape for her.
I did put a little bit of the catnip on it anyway, to treat her, and it's good quality stuff, she rubbed all over it.
I'm not sure if she'll use the holes in the middle or on the sides but it's a nice addition and I may encourage her to play with some treats.
Also, it's really good that that scratching bit can come out of the box bit for easy cleaning and so you can turn it over when one side is too clawed.
Overall, Trixie loves this and I think it's great too!

Super!
At first, both tomcats weren’t quite sure what to do with it. But after an hour, the board was constantly occupied. If they’re not playing, they’re sleeping on it. Wonderful!

Great product
The two tomcats are already placing bets with each other on who can fish the ball out the fastest and kick it across the flat. 8 seconds is the time to beat.
