Good quality great price!

Running a wildlife rescue, we have to provide great nutrition but also watch the pennies. I first tried this brand out around 10 years ago, our recovering hedgehogs loved it and, more importantly, thrived on it. There are now hundreds of our spiky friends running around in the wild courtesy of this food. I've looked at other brands with a similar kibble size but the prices are astronomical. Well done Smilla, keep it up.

Been recommending this for years

Running a hedgehog rescue and taking in stray cats and kittens, I needed a good quality food at a decent price, and this is it. I have never yet had an animal refuse it and have been buying it for years. I've recommended it to people who bring animals in so they can benefit from the cost as well, and recommended it to many other rescues to save them some funds.

Great food for hedgehogs, we are lucky to have a lot visit our garden,it was getting very expensive so I'm pleased I found smlla kitten.

Awful food it stinks and my cat poo is horrific it stinks! Changed to a better food with better ingredients

Great dry food for a great price

I switched my 4 (now 5 month) old kittens to this pretty much as soon as I got them a month ago, and they love and are thriving on it! I’m so happy that on a tight budget the low price of this food allows me to give them a better start than the big cat food brands

Great quality food my cats love it

I tried this through a friend’s recommendation and I’m over the moon I did , my three indoor cats are not so hungry but love this food and it’s better for them

Happy kitten happy mummy

I have tried lots of brands but I can say this one is one of the best at a very good price. No smelly breath, farts or pooh. Obviously my kitten is eating wet and other food but Smilla is the main one.

It's very good my cats love it but be careful to check weight as I had 2 bags delivered 1 was fine it lasted about month and half but the other one lasted about a week it was a lot lighter.

I use this for my kittens and cat and they put loads of weight on with it gives them a good coat as well I do recommend this dry kitten food

I buy this for our visiting hedgehogs after taking advice from @hedgehogcabin rescue. It's excellent as a supplementary food for hedgehogs and ours love it and are thriving.

Smelly farts!

I gave these a go, my kittens (male, British shorthair) who were below 1yrs of age (now cats 1yr&3mths old) loved them but I didn’t like the smelly farts that went with them! Switched to Feringa dry (but still give them smilla wet food) and farts went away. Happy furparent now.

Best Food For Hedgehogs

@HedgehogCabin, a small, expert hedgehog hospital in Hampshire, UK, recommends this food for hedgehogs as it is high in protein and just what hedgehogs need to supplement their natural diet of insects. She is right, our hedgehogs in Putney Common love it. Please do feed your hedgehogs and leave out water. They desperately need it as insects are scarcer due to destruction of natural habitat. And remember, hedgehogs do NOT eat slugs unless they are desperate. Slugs give hedgehogs lungworm.

Cat or dog food is the only safe food to feed your visiting wild hedgehogs, and Smilla Kitten is absolutely perfect! With meat as the first listed (therefore main) ingredient and its excellent phosphorus to calcium ratio, it really is the best, complete, nutritionally balanced kitten/hedgehog food. And the price is great - exceptional value for money. I use it at the hedgehog hospital I run, and the hogs love it.

Smilla biscuit for kittens

My cats Bengals and Siamese are fussy eaters and normally are sick a lot, not with this brand. They fight over who finishes first.

Loved by all

The kittens love this, they turn their nose up at other brands but not this one. I love it because the economy 2x 10kg option is very good value. It’s a win win situation.
