Hill’s Prescription Diet c/d Urinary Stress + Metabolic - Chicken

I have been buying Hills Prescription C/D reduced calorie biscuits for 5 years since one of our cats become seriously ill with stress related cystitis. Both our cats eat the biscuits and they have been very happy with the old recipe. Now for some reason, the brand have brought out a new recipe "metabolic" biscuits which are ridiculously big! Twice the size of the original biscuits. One of our cats is quite small, she is eating them but it has caused some problems. Not very happy!

The product itself is good, but the zip that closes the packaging is flimsy and breaks after a while (confirmed over several orders). For an 8kg bag and just one cat, it’s a pain and means I have to repackage it (sometimes I use an 'old' bag that’s still intact to repackage the contents of the faulty one... not ideal).

Both cats are eating it just fine. The kibble pieces are a bit bigger than the c/d Multicare, so it helps them eat more slowly. We’ll have to wait and see if it has any effect on their weight and urine balance (we’ve been using it for 2 months now). What I have noticed, though, is that since switching, both cats have become more stressed. They weren’t completely stress-free before, but now I realise that the Multicare actually had more of an effect than I thought or noticed. So that’s a bit disappointing and annoying. I also thought this food would help with that.
