Hill's PRESCRIPTION DIET Gastrointestinal Biome Stress Cat Food with Chicken is a hit among feline fans! Cats are gobbling up the bite-sized biscuits, leaving bowls clean and owners pleased. Many have noticed happier, healthier cats with firmer stools and less smelly litter trays. Even fussy eaters are enjoying the crunchy nibbles. While most cats adore it, a few remain unimpressed. Overall, it's a recommended choice for those seeking a tasty and satisfying cat food option.

Mostly good but with a slight warning

I've been feeding this to my two cats now and they do seem to enjoy it and eat it well alongside their wet food. It is rather good for the cats teeth as they do have to bite down hard enough to help remove plaque (helpful for us with older cats) The biscuits themselves have a decent ingredients list and they do have a better than average level of true ingredients rather than rubbish like some biscuits HOWEVER one of the ingredients is cereals. Overall definitely better than cheaper versions

Seen an improvement

My cat has always suffered with gastro issues and anxiety. I hadn't really considered that a change in cat food could help with this. I have trialled this product and seen a positive improvement both with the gastro issues and the continual stress licking! She seems to like the food and I will continue to use this Hills product

Much improved on the Gastrointestinal Biome

One of my Siamese has IBD which over the last year was getting progressively worse. The vet recommended the Hills Gastrointestinal, a steroid jab and kaolin. This worked for a few months then I saw this product so brought a trial bag and what a difference. As a result the diarrhoea and the odour has declined somewhat to a more manageable condition, long may it continue.

Big improvement

I’ve seen a massive improvement with my cat with IBD

Works TOO well against diarrhoea

One of my Maine Coons has very sensitive intestines, with a history of both extremes: from constipation to diarrhoea and back again. In our experience, Hill's Biome works well in cases of diarrhoea, but if there's constipation, it's better to go for Royal Canin Fibre. Feeding just one type of food always caused problems for us, so now we give a mix of both and that's working well for now.

Switching kibble

I’d been using the Royal Canin range for sterilised cats for almost a year. However, I gradually noticed that Pya was having more and more trouble going to the toilet. After talking to her vet, we tried Laxatone, which really helped her. We also decided to switch her kibble to help with her digestion. So far, the new kibble seems to suit her (her stools look much better). I recommend it.
