Concept for Life Maine Coon Adult

Been on Royal Canin Maine Coon for about 6 years. However, they’ve raised their prices like mad. £80 for 10kg…. Concept for life was a recommendation by Zooplus. Sadly, 2 out of my 3 Maine Coon cats had major diarrhoea from it. I stopped feeding it straight away (I had it mixed 30/70). Happy I only bought the trial pack. Might work for some cats, but definitely not for mine. Next thing I tried after plenty of research was IAMS chicken. They love it and had no issues at all.

Switched to this after royal canin hiked their prices, but unfortunately it has caused both our cats to have numerous incidents of explosive diarrhea. A nightmare to deal with and very upsetting for the cats. Recommend avoiding if you can afford it.

We wanted to give our cat some variety with wet food. Up until now, we mostly bought Royal Canin. We bought 2 packs of this food and... we have no idea what's in it, but our cat absolutely refuses to eat it. We thought maybe our cat was just picky, but we gave some to three other people with cats to try. None of their cats wanted to eat it either (and these were just regular moggies), so it's probably not a coincidence—there's definitely something wrong with this food. I do NOT recommend buying it!!!!

I thought I was buying an excellent product with Concept for Life Sensitive, but instead it turned out to be unappetising. I was very disappointed, especially considering the price isn’t exactly low.

Contains 85g but there’s more water than food. The cats don’t get full.

I've bought this brand several times and they've always eaten it without any problem. This time they won't even go near it, I don't know what's changed but I don't recommend it.

I've been buying the Sterilised Cats Chicken for several years now, but since my last order (07/07/2026), my cats won't touch it anymore. When I ordered in January 2026, there were no problems. Now I have to put tuna or wet food on top just to get them to eat it. Even the stray cats won't have it. There must have been a change in the recipe that wasn't communicated to customers, which is a real shame.

They've changed the recipe, my cat won't even go near them now.

I've been using this cat food since 2009, but they've changed the recipe and now none of my cats will eat it—I have 5 cats. My daughter uses the salmon flavour, so I asked her to give the chicken one to her 5 cats, but same thing, none of them will eat it either.

Since the recipe for these kibbles changed, my cat won't eat them anymore. We didn't make the connection at first and were really worried because our cat was eating much less and losing a lot of weight. After spending €350 on blood tests (thankfully nothing was wrong!!), we started thinking about the kibbles. Since we've switched to different kibbles, he's eating well again. It's really disappointing that the recipe was changed, because our cat used to really like these kibbles.

Neither my house cats nor the strays want to eat it – I hope I can manage to sneak it in somehow by mixing it with other dry food.

I thought this food would be great for my many neutered cats, but unfortunately—they won't even try it, it just sits in their bowls. I offered it to some strays, but they wouldn't eat it either... a puppy ended up eating it.

For the first time, our tomcat really doesn't like the dry food. Unfortunately, the 10kg bag will remain unused.

My Maine Coons have been eating this food for years. Now the recipe has changed and they find it downright disgusting—they even go looking for food outside because they're hungry. So I wonder why the recipe was changed and what's in it now. I'm not satisfied and have now bought different kibble for them myself.
