If your cat(s) don't like catnip try any of the Aumüller toys but make sure you have a Tupperware box handy if the scent is too much for you. If the toy starts to lose it's scent you can buy valerian spray (by Trixie) or capsules. Which you can refresh the scent on the toy. Let them enjoy themselves !!

Although this little toy stinks like some ones sweaty festering feet, apparently his lordship quite enjoys the smell and he gets really animated around it, bunny kicking, rolling around with it and even sleeping with it happily. Sadly the first one ended up in the washing machine and it lost its stink so this is my 2nd purchase along with other aumuller toys

We call ours stinky mouse, because wow it stinks!! But one of my cats loved it! Now that smell has diminished he has been abandoned so will need to get a new one..

Broken in 2 uses. My cat loves to bite it and the fabric is too thin so it broke in 2 days. Doesn’t worth to buy.

It’s true, it does stink, but my cat loves it. He’s got numerous toys, but this became his favourite instantly. I am glad I didn’t read the reviews, as I am sure the smell would’ve put me off, but I would definitely recommend this toy if your cat likes catnip.

I bought 3 of these one each for each of my Maine Coons plus Norwegian. Billy the Norwegian stole all 3 and laid on the floor biting all 3. The next time I looked he was laid on his back with his paws up in the air. He was salivating totally high and helpless. He is 9 years old our new kitten watched confused. They smell terribly but if the cats like them so what!

Well received order this evening and have to my 4 month old kitten, he snatched it up and all of a sudden thought he was some kind of wild cat?!! Hissing and growling at anyone who went near him? Drew blood from my 8 year old daughter!! He was like a completely different cat?I had to wrestle it off him and I've put it in the bin, as I also have 1 yr old child and can't risk it. He has another mouse with catnip and loves it but we can take it and play with him... is this normal I'm so confused!!

As others mentioned, very smelly and due to this my cats were jnitially interested and had a good sniff but then reverted to being uninterested. I also think it's a little too big for them to really consider playing with it.

Much bigger than i'd expected so very good value. My older cat loves this and the 3 little cats and filled pillows ive bought too. Went in my bedroom before to find he'd tucked his head between this mouse and a little pillow to sleep, which was very cute. My kitten seems to prefer catnip, but this was an instant hit with him as he's never really been one for soft toys before, so was lovely to watch him playing. Hopefully he'll be bringing less live mice in now lol

I bought a second mouse after my cat decided to drop her first in her water bowl where it remained overnight. The second one is much lighter and weaker smelling than the first one was (which was a really pungent smell, but attracted my cat for sure). She's not very interested in it at all. I can only assume costs have been cut and this isn't as good a quality product now - a shame because it's hard to find things my cat (not into catnip) likes.

OMG my cats love this mouse toy! They went crazy for it. Yes, it does smell a little but the for the pleasure it gives my cats, it's worth it.

Has a very strong smell that may be a little unpleasant for humans but kitten loves it. Comes in a ziplock bag so you can put it away and it will keep the scent.

Really cute and nice toy in just the right size for my Norwegian Forest Cat (he likes to wrestle with slightly bigger toys), but as his owner I can't handle the strong smell coming from this one. It's a very strong and unpleasant odour. I also feel that my cat reacted better to the Aumüller ferret, which admittedly also smells bad, but not as bad as this one. Maybe it's something to do with the material?
