my kittie loves this
She has had these types of play mats before and she just lies on them, plays with the hanging toys and sits there on it observing life. She is not a boisterous cat so I've not had any problems described by other reviewers on here. Mat is still in pristine condition, will last a long time. She sometimes flips it over and when I get home from work it's in a different place than when I left in the morning, it's one of her favourite things.

Kittens love it
If was a little stronger (reinforced at point where frame meets Matt) this would be 5 star. If your handy with a needle and thread or sewing machine easily sorted and strength added. My two 8 month old kittens love them

Cat loves it but quality is shocking
I'm just purchasing my 4th one of these. My maine coon absolutely loves it and it keeps her entertained for hours. BUT. The quality is horrendous. The poles end up coming through the fabric after no time at all and though they can be pushed back in, eventually they won't stay in at all.
Also, the hanging toys are no match for my cat and have to be tied back on at least 3 times a day.
If the quality was better, with thicker material sewn over the corners, this would be a 5 star product.

Cat loves it, but quality is an issue
Our cat loves this play mat, but the quality of product needs some revision. Like the other reviewer says, the poles have a tendancy to come through the fabric after a short period of time. I've sown ours back in multiple times but there are only so many times you can sow this thing back up until it makes no difference any longer.
If they improve the quality of the corners with thicker fabric so the pole doesn't keep coming through, then this would be a 5 star item.

Revised review due to quality issue
As said before, blind cat loves it but within one day one end of the wire frame started coming through the fabric covering. Great toy let down by the quality, so revised down to 2 stars.

Blind cat loves this toy
As usual he wants to help unpack any new toy then play for a while before going off and achieving further mischief elsewhere. With this toy he returns often and enjoys himself playing then snoozing on the mat. Overall good value.

Lucky, lasted a year
Both my cats love this play mat and drag it all around the flat. I checked and it lasted a year and a day before the rods came out. I've ordered a new one and hope it lasts at least another year.

Looks great but doesn't last at all.
I have a three-month-old European kitten, and after about five minutes of play the little toys came off. Even after tying them back on with a knot, the string broke, making it unusable.

Poles are coming out
Got it delivered today, thought it looked nice and would be great for my two kittens (3.5 months old). Well, not even 6 hours later, the poles are coming out of the fabric and the toys are falling off one after another. So, conclusion: For very small kittens it might be okay, but for growing or adult cats, it's not suitable at all.

Good intentions, poor execution!
I've ordered this play arch several times because the young cats love it, but every time the wire rods come out at the bottom really quickly and then you just have to throw it away. It's not worth the money.

Brilliant toy
I actually bought the arch for our kitten, but instead my big girl (6 years old) decided it's hers now. She plays like mad with it and also loves using it for a little nap in between :-)

Warning: compared to previous versions, the rods are no longer plastic but made of fibreglass!! My dog broke one and, while handling it, I ended up with tiny fibres stuck in my hands for days. I’m really worried about the risk of animals swallowing them too. I think it’s ridiculous to use this material in a toy meant for dogs and cats. Not recommended, especially if you have pets that might chew or break the rods.

Worthless
It’s not expensive, but you’d be better off adding a tenner and making it better quality. After just one day, the kittens had already pulled 3 out of the 4 toys off. After 3 days, the arch with a simple string around it was broken. Fun over. Had to fix it myself again. You’re better off buying a play arch for babies. The strings the toys were attached to frayed really quickly as well.
