Simply brilliant!
After much deliberation, I finally decided to buy the laser. It absolutely fascinates my two cats. They chase the laser dot endlessly, until they're completely exhausted, and even then, they don't want to give up. Even my big cat, who rarely gets excited about playing, is chasing, jumping, running, spinning in circles—always on the hunt for the laser dot.
I find it very amusing and entertaining to watch them chase it, even though it's actually quite mean, as it triggers their hunting instincts for something they can never catch.
From me, it's a definite recommendation to buy!

The absolute hit!!
I can only recommend this toy. My Persian loves it! Although (due to being a Persian) there are frequent breaks during playtime, it never gets boring. After the evil red dot has been chased all over the flat and stubbornly refuses to be eaten (a sight for the gods :D), the device automatically switches off after a pleasant 15 minutes. Since cats are intelligent creatures, my tomcat quickly figured out where the dot comes from and loudly demands to play more when he wants another round. Off we go again! The cat is entertained, and the owner feels good about it.
The toy is also great for transferring your pet to another room. Cats love to hide in corners where their owner can't reach them. In this case, the function to fix the laser in place is really handy. ;)
By the way, I haven't noticed any damage or sudden blindness, even when my slightly crazy indoor cat sits directly in front of the device's opening and stares into it. I don't think something like that would be sold otherwise, especially not here! If, however, there is a spontaneous self-combustion of a cat due to this toy, please write about it here.
All in all, this is a fantastic invention that the overworked cat owner community has been waiting for. The price is unbeatable for the hours of fun you can have with it. Sometimes, you even get to witness amazing "stunts" that you'd never expect from a Persian.
Thank you, Zooplus!

Not impressed at all!!!
If you set up the laser pointer and let the cat play with it, the laser dot can end up shining into the cat's eyes, which is very dangerous. It even says on the packaging that you shouldn't let the cat play with it unsupervised and that you should "always keep an eye on the cat" when it's playing with it. In that case, I might as well buy a small laser pointer that is a) not as expensive and b) not as noisy. I can't see any advantage in this version of the laser pointer at all. Quite the opposite!!!

Great toy, but there's room for improvement.
We've been using this toy for a long time, and our cats love it, and even our dog (especially him) ;-) .
Unfortunately, I gave the device its final blow today because it became too expensive for us in the long run to keep buying new batteries, as they were completely drained after at most a week, and after about 8 uses, the laser dot was already barely visible.
So I thought, since it runs on 4 batteries of 1.5 volts each, that makes a total of 6 volts.
I attached a universal power adapter set to 6 volts.
Now the electronics are acting up, and the thing is ready for the bin.
Such a shame!!!
It would be better if the device had a socket for a suitable power adapter to avoid the constant battery changes.

Best cat toy
This is the best cat toy, I can only recommend it – affordable and absolutely addictive for play.

Super
Both of my indoor cats absolutely love it. My cat chases the light until she’s completely worn out and ends up panting on the floor. The chubby tomcat is a bit lazier, but he’s also very interested in it. I can only recommend this toy!

Failed
Out of curiosity (and for our 4-month-old kitten ;O), we ordered and tested the laser toy. The kitten chased the red laser dot like crazy. However, I don’t like the fact that the cat doesn’t get the satisfaction of catching its prey. This also unsettled our kitten—he kept searching for the red dot for minutes after the laser was turned off and seemed quite confused. We returned the device and decided to stick with the "classic" toys!

Satisfactory
The idea is absolutely brilliant – a laser pointer that moves on its own... Genius! However, this device is not yet fully developed. The red dot moves far too slowly, the device could be a bit quieter, and it’s missing an automatic timer...
But otherwise, it’s great! Perhaps the manufacturer should consider a next "generation" of this device.

even without me
I think the toy is good. Sure, it's a bit louder and not as fast as when you handle the laser pointer yourself.
But above all, our chubby one loves it, and you can actually have an evening without entertaining the cats!

Cats are addicted
A really great toy for my two little rascals. One chases after the laser dot while the other watches the whole thing, and after a short while, they switch roles. Simply brilliant!!!

Noisy unused toy
My kitten won't go near it. It is a very noisy machine and uses 4 AA batteries. The laser pointer jumps suddenly to a different place in the room and the kitten loses it.

Very disappointed
Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with this product. The laser beam moves far too slowly. One of my cats isn’t interested in it at all, and the other one keeps staring directly at the device, which is really dangerous. On top of that, it’s far too loud! Definitely not recommended!

Super!!!
This laser is absolutely brilliant (for my cats and "me"). My cats, aged 10 and 11, are totally thrilled. We had an issue with one of the cats where she would always get lively as soon as we went to bed, either jumping on us if the door was open or scratching at the door. Now I set up the laser for her before and when we go to bed, and she’s occupied and afterwards so tired... Cat happy, humans happy. Brilliant!

Quite good
After having this thing for about 3 months now, I have to say it’s making even stranger noises that can’t be turned off. But our cat likes it. She comes over when it stops. It would be nicer if you could fix the point as well, since it keeps moving all the time and the cat never really catches it.

Interest wanes quickly
Our cats quickly lost interest; the dot moves far too slowly, making it not very engaging. The device is also too loud, and the noise is irritating for humans.

brilliant
This thing is brilliant – I’ve bought so many toys for my kitty that he wasn’t interested in, but ever since we got the laser cat toy, I’ve finally found something he likes. He chases the dot every day, even though he can never catch it – it never gets boring. 😺
When I have time, I set it up so I can move it around and decide where the dot goes.
When I don’t have time, I switch it to automatic – that way I can get my work done, and my kitty still chases after it, satisfies his hunting instinct, and has fun! 😊

Boring for the cat
The point moves too slowly and often doesn’t go much further, which makes it boring for cats since they want to hunt. So, quick movements are needed.

Perfect toy!
I think the laser pointer is the best cat toy out there.
Without supervision, this Bolt can be dangerous for the eyes, as the cat often tries to follow the sound. But in manual mode, it's perfect. The cat loves playing with the pointer. Even my second cat, my little worry child, who is extremely shy and still doesn’t trust humans, even she comes out of her hiding spot to play.
Compared to regular laser pointers, the batteries last much longer here!
Brilliant!

Complaint handling completely hassle-free!
Due to my very positive impression of this toy, my friend wished for it as a birthday gift. I immediately checked 'zooplus' and saw it was on sale --> what a bargain!! Ordered, delivered, and gifted. What a mishap! The thing doesn’t work as intended.... Loose connection?! Big deliberation, what to do.... I contacted zooplus and it was NO problem at all!!! What joy!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for your help and attentiveness!
I’m always happy to order from you again!

Reporting back for the third time about this toy...
... and it’s still a real 'hit' *gg*. After buying better batteries, I have to take back my comment about it being a 'battery guzzler'. It just keeps going and going. And the cats keep running and running.
Brilliant toy. Just from the daily evening use, the purchase has already paid off. Thank you so much, ZOOPLUS, for this fantastic toy. I really hope you’ll have more such amazing toys soon.
