switched on or off my cat loves this! I switch on now and then and she loves interacting with it but still goes over to it when it’s on the off mode a while - great toy to have. Comes with a couple extra butterflies inside but I purchased spares. Get some batteries in ready as they are not supplied with it. Ps you will have fun watching too! I supervise this play but can see anything sharp or loose after much play.

Got this for my 3 month Maine Coon and he loves it. Will play with it switched on or off. The butterflies seem sturdy; but they also send additional butterflies in the pack! It’s fairly quiet too when moving.

One out of two cats loves it
This has probably been the best toy I've bought for my older lady cat, she absolutely loves it, and it's fun watching her play with it, bonus you cam buy spate butterflies too, my only concern is the wire the butterfly is attached too, does have the potential to hurt inside of mouth so I'd recommend you watch carefully and don't allow your cat to bite into it, my other male cat played with it for like 5 minutes and got bored but he's like that with most toys. It's definitely worth the money.

Excellent for over-energetic kittens!
We have had a 8 month old kitten for a month or so, and she is so energetic we've struggled to keep up with her needs. She loves this and has actually tired herself out and taken herself off to bed which she never does when we're playing with a wand toy! It even caught the eye of our timid 14 year old cat who is not a big fan of the kitten, and this has actually brought some peace between them as her energy is directed at the toy and not him, and they can watch it together happily.

How much energy do they expend chasing this butterfly. Excellent toy.
Although it's not played with daily, the first butterfly has lasted a couple of months, whereas I thought it would be "killed" within the hour.
Only criticism, is having the on/off button on the top, as it gets stepped on a lot.
