Aumüller Unicorn Pillow Cat Toy

I bought two unicorns and gave one to a friend whose cat adores catnip toys. Her cat ignored this one and my friend found the smell of the toy difficult to tolerate. My cat also ignored his unicorn. This one smelt so bad that the family thought someone had brought something unpleasant in on their shoe, until we tracked it down to the unicorn! Zooplus were brilliant and immediately gave me a refund for both toys. I recommend the company very highly. They are always efficient and helpful.

My cat is 14, and much more interested in sleeping than in playing with toys! I thought the valerian in this might tempt her... it didn't, but although she doesn't play with it she really loves it. She often uses it as a pillow, and it accompanies her to the vets!

This product is extremely poor quality. All the seems were splitting so I had to sew it all up to stop it falling apart and the contents coming out not impressed Shame as it was a Christmas gift for my kitten

Great toy

I think I may have bought this more for myself than for my cat...she's not in the least bit interested in this toy, which is odd for her as she's normally all over anything with catnip on or in it! It might be the size - this is a very large toy for a not particularly large cat! - but I don't think the scent is particularly strong either. Might add some catnip spray and see if she's any more interested but I'm not holding out much hope. It does look cute though, and seems very well made.

Milo was already crazy about it straight from the bag and became a total fan. I don't think I'll be able to get it back from him anymore. It's so much fun to watch him go wild with it.

The unicorn used to be my two cats’ favourite toy – I would order them a new one from time to time. Unfortunately, my last order of two was a terrible mistake. The quality of the unicorn has gone downhill – I’m mainly talking about the zip. In both of the last unicorns, the zip came off during the very first play session (this never happened before) and now I can’t find the zip parts anywhere, so I’m worried my cat might have swallowed them… Not worth it.
