Aumüller Unicorn Pillow Cat Toy

These used to be my cat's favourite toys, they went CRAZY for them. I bought many over the last few years but the latest one has been met with absolute disinterest, whereas other similar toys from the brand are still instant hits. I don't know if I got a dud somehow or if the recipe has changed but this toy is useless to them.

My cat is an ex feral and isn't one that normally cares for toys, but she's warmed to this one quite quickly and even has tossed it around! I'm happy she likes it. Instant interest.

My cat loved this toy but it only lasted 5 minutes before the zip broke spilling seeds everywhere. Zip now wont stay up so cannot be used.

In the beginning, she was just not interested but after a few months, she started to use the toy as a pillow (incredible, I know). I have a ton of photos and videos of her playing with this toy and I must say that she really enjoys it.

cats lovely this product as soon as come out the wrapper had her beside me and wanted on the floor so can roll and play with it. left it on the ground after, so bored with it but started to roll over the card that came with it as smelled like it. A stray that comes in sometimes started playing with it got it dirty but found its machine washable just unzip, ready as new the both love this cat silver vine toy,

The smell and the look my cats love it! Shame it lasted all of 2 minutes. The material used is almost seethrough its so weak. In case Aumuller are not aware cats have both sharp teeth and claws! Very disappointing. Replace the main body of material with something a little more robust, up the cost and I would happily buy the product in the future.

It took just 20 minutes for my cat to pull the seams apart and for the contents to start spilling over the floor. More than the mess, I was most concerned about him eating too much of it. It went straight in the bin. Very disappointing.

Great toy! Both my Maine coons adore this, one in particular loves to snuggle with him in my office during the day. Very cute!

Yes it's a bit stinky, but I put it back in the bag after she has played with it. Has held up well to some robust play fighting, would recommend.

We called this unicorn stinky because he absolutely stinks of cheesy poop ! My cat absolutely loves him but the wheat stuff inside made him green and moldy and was leaking out so after half an hour scooping the wheat out with a pencil he is heading for the washing machine and will restuff him with fluff and a contained bag of the wheaty stuff like it shouldve been done?? Poor stinky

Unlike the Skunk equivalent, the smelly stuffing is held in with velcro rather stitched in with a proper seam. My cat had the contents of the unicorn’s tummy out within minutes while my other cat played happily with the Skunk bought at the same time. Unfortunately, the stuffing goes into the legs and neck of the unicorn too so you can’t simply empty it and just use it as a somewhat deflated toy. Go for the skunk if you want more than 5 mins playtime.

Cute unicorn toy that my 6 year old cat loves to play with and also cuddle up with. Good price and good size too. She has nt lost enjoyment and interest in it over time, snd it has stood up to her rough at times play. Great cat toy.

Our female cat, Tori, doesn't react to catnip. Some years ago we tried an Aumüller valerian toy and we haven't looked back since. Her latest, and probably her favourite, toy is Uni. If her little "brother" tries to play with it, he will be quickly reprimanded! (He has an Angie Alpaca. We have to buy their toys in pairs to prevent fighting!) We've had a few Aumüller toys now and every one has been extremely well made, a good size and well loved!

I’ve got this toy for a stray cat I’ve been taking care of having no expectation at all. But he just loves it a lot. I can see him walking around the street with his unicorn in his mouse. Great toy!!

All of mine love this toy , I have 3 and 1/2 cats ( one being the neighbours that seems to of moved himself in!) I’ve had to buy another . It’s their favourite 😍😍

Well, we've had toys before, but this is the first one she was sat on the box wanting me to open it. I took out the unicorn, there was a brief contretemps while she wrested the Unicorn from my hand and began killing it, she's enjoyed a good ten minutes killing it, so I assume she's happy it's dead, for the moment, now she's very interested in the packaging.

Lulu is usually hesitant when it comes to new toys but she absolutely loves this one and it’s taken her no time to accept the unicorn. A freebie with the points too!

At first I thought this toy was huge but ginger( who doesn’t normally play with toys) fell in love instantly and couldn’t stop rubbing her face in it and cuddling it. In other reviews people complain about the smell but it’s fine I think. I’m bought it for my Persian kitten coming in a fortnight but now I’m going to order more for my sons kitties( ginger and pepper) and my daughters Birman. I think it will be a great nighttime toy

My cat likes silvervine but I wasn’t sure of this because she doesn’t react to catnip (the toy is very pungent! smells like more like valerian). She is very mellow and affectionate on this mix and it’s very cute to see her play and sleep with the unicorn. The toy is okay quality, good for the price, similar to toys you get at a fairground. Not great for destructive cats at all I think as the fabric is too thin. The unicorn I got sent was fairly symmetrical so the product was as represented.

I got this toy free with concept for life food. It was good I got 3 toys, since all my cats wants to play with them, even my 10 year old who doesn't normally play. Not sure how robust the toy is yet and some of them already look yellow (wonder if is the content that colours the outside when the cat chew on them), but cannot fault the entertainment value

Milo was already crazy about it straight from the bag and became a total fan. I don't think I'll be able to get it back from him anymore. It's so much fun to watch him go wild with it.

The unicorn used to be my two cats’ favourite toy – I would order them a new one from time to time. Unfortunately, my last order of two was a terrible mistake. The quality of the unicorn has gone downhill – I’m mainly talking about the zip. In both of the last unicorns, the zip came off during the very first play session (this never happened before) and now I can’t find the zip parts anywhere, so I’m worried my cat might have swallowed them… Not worth it.
