My Maine Coon cats immediately pounced on the feather wand – and that was that. The feathers were torn out, and over the next few days, everything completely fell apart. Not convincing – unfortunately!

I had barely taken the item out of the package and rustled the feathers a bit when our cat came charging over at full speed, and after that, there was no stopping him. Unfortunately, after just an hour of play, a few feathers had already fallen victim to the cat. I’ll probably order a few replacements.

Our four cats are crazy about this wand toy. It rustles wonderfully, which naturally stimulates their hunting instinct a bit more than other toys, but after two days, it's always done for. It's a real shame, because otherwise it would be absolutely brilliant.

The most popular play wand in our house! Pinky took to it straight away, while Murphy was a bit more hesitant, probably because he found it a bit spooky! *g* By now, both of them play with the wand like crazy. Some of the white feathers have already fallen off, but there are still enough left to create an interesting sound. Whether the wand is peeking out from under a cabinet, dragged across the floor, or fluttered in the air, the kitties go after it like mad! Full marks for fun, but since the product is very expensive, I’m deducting one point.

This white feather is a real hit. Both of them can hardly be contained and protest when I put it away. However, it’s already shedding feathers – I’m curious to see how long it will last.

My one-year-old Maine Coon tomcat absolutely loves the fishing rod. When I play with him using it, you could say he gets completely hysterical. Let’s see how long the thing lasts. :-)). My 2.5-year-old Maine Coon lady, unfortunately, is very lazy when it comes to playing and ends up being chased away by the tomcat, or she simply loses interest.

Although my tomcat isn't very playful due to his age, he gets quite enthusiastic about this wand toy – but only when I drag the feathers across the floor, not when I wave it around in the air. Despite not playing with it very often, the wand has already lost quite a few feathers within a week (literally, in the truest sense of the word). The feathers themselves are still intact; they just come loose from their attachment at the head of the wand. That could definitely be improved!!

This fishing rod is THE toy in our house. I had barely unpacked it, and my cat was already hypnotised. He always tries to catch it and then runs off to a hiding spot to tug at the rod to his heart's content. But I can't let him do that, as it would break quickly otherwise. In the evenings, we romp around the flat with the rod, and the cat just can't get enough. Even our older one has started playing again. She had pretty much lost interest in toys and was hard to motivate to play, but with this rod, she goes absolutely wild (just like when she was little). I do find the price a bit steep, though, as the feathers wear out quite quickly if you're not a bit careful.

... after 4 days of play, only remnants of the feathers were left. My cat is absolutely thrilled with the wand, but due to its short lifespan and the relatively high price, I have to deduct some points...

Based on the many positive reviews, I bought this fishing rod. Besides this rod, we also have the "Feather Boa" and "Smiley" rods. Out of these, the "Feather Dancer" was the most popular, but after the fifth play, it had no white feathers left. After each play, 1-2 feathers were gone. Even the "Feather Boa" lasts longer and is also cheaper. Such a shame. Evi

It’s a big hit. As soon as it was unpacked, the wand was immediately claimed. The feathers are holding up quite well too. If I’m not playing with my two boys, they’ll carry the wand around and bring it to me… honestly, a really great toy. Highly recommended!

We are thrilled! Our tomcat, OKH, usually manages to destroy every toy in no time at all. But this fishing rod is still intact, and our cats love playing with it. The rustling sound also encourages them to hunt even more.

Very sturdy, a big hit, great feathers, and my cats just can't get enough of it. This wand is worth every penny.

My tomcat (5 months old) is absolutely thrilled. We're having loads of fun with it, and he's completely crazy about the thing. Many of his toys only hold his interest for a short time, but with this one, he just can't get enough of chasing, catching, and playing. Unfortunately, the long feathers aren't very durable, and one after the other keeps falling off. Still, for the fun it provides, it gets 5 stars.

I’ve already written a review before. We’ve been playing with this for quite a while now, and we order a new one about every two weeks :)) The feathers are really durable. She’s still completely addicted to it. She drags it around everywhere!!! She doesn’t even want to play with anything else anymore, just this wand. Now I’m worried that one day it might not be available on zooplus anymore. What would I do then??? :(( Please, please keep it in your range for years to come. Thank you so much!

My two cats absolutely love these fishing rods!!! Unlike the ones with soft feathers, these feathers are sturdier and don’t get ripped out by the kitties straight away! A small downside might be that the flexible part can easily come loose from the sturdy stick. But a bit of super glue fixes that in no time! Top marks from me and the cats!!!

This thing is amazing, she just wants to play with it all the time. I have to put it away now and then because she gets so obsessed with it. She loves it when you move it quickly around the flat; she goes absolutely crazy with it. I have to make sure she doesn’t overdo it. Just a solid 5 stars!

Of our four cats, three like this fishing rod the most. One tomcat constantly drags it around with him. However, I’m deducting one point because the feathers come off quite quickly – for the price, a bit more durability would be desirable...

My cat managed to destroy the fishing rod in just 5 minutes. The feathers and their attachment were simply torn off. I'm very disappointed!!! I expected more!!!
