TIAKI Dragonfly Dangler Cat Toy

Unfortunately, this is the only wand our cat plays with, but the quality keeps getting worse! We've been ordering it for about 3 years now, always as a replacement. It used to last a few months, but now it breaks after about a week: the wire tears off the stick. That's really annoying and it's starting to get expensive too!

Overall, the fishing rod is actually good at first. The dragonfly even got my lazy senior cat to play and hunt... BUT both the METAL CORD and the METAL FASTENING are absolutely unsuitable for cats. The metal cord as well as the metal loops that attach the dragonfly to the cord are dangerous for paws and teeth, as a fang or claw can fit right through! It's also not good if cats bite on metal. I've now wrapped them with adhesive-free plaster.

My little tomcat went absolutely crazy for it and managed to break the dragonfly in about 5 minutes (there’s some wool or something on it, and it unravelled in no time at all). It would be great if the thing would at least last a few weeks and if you could buy replacement dragonflies.
