Transparent plastic doesn't work for my cat; he doesn't understand that he needs to put his paw in and just keeps trying to push his head against the plastic. Really sad. I don't recommend this, there are plenty of other toys that do work.

The cat was genuinely thrilled, but the quality of the product is terrible. The plastic lid cracks under the pressure of the cat’s paw (just an ordinary mixed breed, 5kg). After less than 4 months, the lid was so cracked that I had to throw it away because of the sharp edges. Now I only have the base left and you can’t buy the lid separately. For this price, it’s pointless – there are better and more durable toys out there.
