What have they done?
This used to be by far the best cat litter available. I have three cats (two of which are elderly and have kidney issues) and two bags lasted them an entire month (I have two huge litter trays) and didn't smell at all. Now, the litter is weirdly light and fluffy and it no longer clumps properly. It used to clump really firmly, but still disintegrate really well in the loo to flush. Now the clumps fall apart when you try and pick them up disintegrate back into the rest of the litter. Awful.

My apartment smelled of cat litter/poo
Used this for a year before trying a crystal litter to reduce the tread. Not only did this improve, we also realised the sudden improvement in scent of my 1.5 bed apartment which we had become to used to and assumed it was just a 'thing' we had to live with having indoor cats

Very dusty, very smelly. Definitely not the world's best.
Gave it a go after seeing all the rave reviews online but it's just not worth the price. Don't get me wrong there are many worse litters out there, but this isn't the cream of the crop either. Doesn't do anything for odour control. It gets very dusty after a couple of days of being kicked around in the tray (obviously removing clumps and solids regularly), so unless you want to replace the whole box every 3 days it can hardly be called low-dust - and at that price, no one would!

Just doesn't seem to work - feeling I'm missing something
Used the brand before and seemed fine at the time, but maybe just that cat normally goes out, so litter tray rarely used.
Currently having to keep him in, and finding this stuff is pretty useless. Doesn't seem to clump or absorb - just breaks down into a soggy mess that stinks and breaks apart when cat kicks it, or I try to scoop it.

Smells
I love the fine grain. Works great in my Litter Robot. And it lasts long. I was hoping for the best with this litter
But it’s a tad smelly - I think due to it being “natural”. Therefore not good odour control. My male cat uses everywhere but the Litter Robot to go toilet - he won’t use the tray.
The others are fine. I think I’ll have to go back to my usual (unfortunately messy) cat litter and mix it in.

The last 3 bags were not so good
I dont know whats going on but there is a very clear difference in the quality and durability in the litter. Currently its not the Worlds best cat litter i hope things improve.

the really the best
one of my two main coon cats will not use any of the cat trays with this in, and now messes all over the house, the other cat is fine with it, and there is still a small after a poo

Not a happy kitty
I have just received this cat litter not happy. I expected it to be just like my previous purchase of this product in the green bag, in texture and colour.
Instead when I opened the bag I was confronted by a dirty grey, coarser and powdery product...which will be trailed all over the house....just like so many other clumping litters! Very disappointed🙁 Before I bought I checked product description.....no difference....but there is. Colour, texture and dust.

Certainly NOT World's best!
This is not the best in my house let alone the world. The smell permeates the entire house even before use. The litter is by no means dust free and little paw prints could be seen after 2/3 days. It also claims to be able to keep the odour from our two kittens 'presents' under control. It failed.....BADLY.
Would I recommend this product? NO
Does this live up to it's name? NO
Does this live up to it's claims? NO

Didn't smell great and tracked EVERYWHERE
I was really excited about finding a litter that actually is biodegradable and not that bad for the planet, but it wasn't great. Our cat was happy to use it, but it tracked all over the house and it is super dusty so you could see where he'd been walking on the furniture. Also the litter already smells a tiny bit like poo so whenever our cat did his business the whole house would stink out (even though he has a covered litter tray). Also - its just so expensive!

Review of all used litters
I have a creamy Persian cat. Throughout his 3 years with me I tried the following litters:
- Applaws Nature's Calling: My favourite and best of all. Has a pleasant smell, traps odours well (but, have to admit, not so good as Cat's Best Oko Plus), clumps reliably and lasts long (I usually pour half of pack at once, so 2 packs of 6kg last for 1,5-2 months). It does track a bit though, but least of all the litters I've tried and sweeping/hoovering once or twice a week is enough. The only minus is that it colours my cat's creamy paws as it is dark brown.
- Cat's Best Oko Plus: It traps odours very well, lasts for long (similar to Applaws) and has no issues with clumping. However, this is probably the worst tracking litter I had. I had to hoover/brush twice a day as little bits stick onto cat's paws and fur and is spread everywhere at home. I didn't even use all pack, switched back to Applaws.
- Cat's Best Nature Gold: Tried once. The pellets are really large and this makes clumping not so effective. I bought it because it said that it does not stick to fur and is suitable for long haired cats. Well, those pellets did stick to my cat's fur and tracked a lot. Though it is environmentally friendly and eliminates smells for some time. But loose litter eventually becomes smelly and you have to change it.
- Porta Pine Wood: Good cat litter, would rank it 2nd after Applaws. It smells fresh and is literally dust free, leaves no visible marks. It lasts long, great odour control, clumps well and my cat loved it. However, it tracks quite badly, but not as bad as Cat's Best Oko Plus.
- Catsan Hygiene: Not good at all. Never bought again. Clumps stay wet for a long time making it difficult to remove from the box, and when they dry they glue to the box so that I had to scratch them off. Controls smell bad, tracks a bit and clumps of wet litter stick to the fur. It is dusty and caused runny eyes and sneezing to my Persian friend.
- World's Best (Green and Red): Not good. Advised by vet after using Catsan Hygiene. It is dusty and didn't improve my cat's runny eyes much. It clumps very well, tracks a bit. Though it stinks horribly, probably because loose litter eventually starts smelling. Thus, no odour control. As such I do not remember it lasting long.
- Tygerino Crystals Silicate: Used in an emergency when my order was late. Disliked bad smell. It also runs out quickly, one pack lasted for 3 days, tracks a bit.

Definitely not the World's best
I honestly think all the 5* reviews are from those who have only tried non clumping or retail stores own brands before as this is less superior than many others on Zooplus.
Firstly, it is way overpriced, I cannot begin to understand how they charge £30 for 12kg! I purchased it a few pounds off on Zooplus to see what the fuss is about and would rather have purchased 4 bags of my regular litter (Cat and Clean) than this.
Secondly the odour is terrible, like a stale ash tray or when you're in a pub and can smell stale alcholol and dirt, it makes me boke at it even when clean!
Thirdly it tracks worse than other brands.
Fourthly it doesn't clump as well as others - you have to leave it for a good 5-10 minutes before you can scoop it out.
Surely if you're paying £30 for a so called World's best, you would want the best clumping, best odour and best for tracking, if it hit all of these, I owuld of course pay more.
I have recently tried Cats Best and Greenwoods (similar litter) which I would also rate higher than this for all the above faults World's best has but the best brand overall for value, odour, clumping and tracking is Cat and Clean - 2 bags for £17! Stock up on this and you can't go wrong, but please save your money on World's best.

Not worth the money
I was a bit unsure whether to buy this because of the cost but as it had so many good reviews I was willing to part with the money if it did what it said it would....
I admit I didn't have any problems with tracking which is the main reason I purchased it. With 2 bengals tracking can be an issue but... The smell is disgusting! It hides the smell of the cats business but to be honest I'd probably prefer that. Also my eldest Bengal who is 3 has never licked himself so much! Every time I see him he is licking his bits!!
This litter is definitely not for me. I'd rather clean up some litter now and again then put up with the smell this litter puts out.

Not as good as expected
Tried this on the strength of the reviews. Sadly disappointed. The house is covered in fine grit and it really isn't any good at odour control. Using this my husband complained about the smell from the tray for the first time ever despite me cleaning it out every day. Will not be using it again.
