Formula has changed
I have been using this for years and was very happy with it. I have one indoor cat. The cost was high but acceptable because it was a great product and it lasted a long time. Now the formula is different, it doesn’t last as long and the odour is noticeable. I will be switching to another brand. Very disappointing.

Now very expensive and lots of dust!
I have used this cat litter for over 2 years as it was recommended by the breeder we had our cat from. Since the price went up last year it’s been terrible, turns to sawdust texture within a week so we have dusty paws all over the house. I also feel like it doesn’t mask bad smells anymore. Have tried buying the smaller bag and from different retailers and still the same problem. Currently trialling the Super Benek cat litter and so far it’s seeming better and much cheaper

Awful - product changed and it smells so bad when it reacts with poos
I used this litter over a year ago and I used to like it. Having used others since I went back to re-try world’s best (green) and I was so disappointed! I am not sure whether the formula has changed but the fresh poop odour is awful in comparison to other brands (for example tigerino). The wee clumping is still good but the smell has changed!!

Not clumping
I forgot that I bought one bag of this cat litter before but not this Original (I bought Lavender scented). It was not clumping after my cat use. However, I forgot it and I bought it again. After my cat use, pee are all stay on the surface, absorb super slowly and not clumping at all. I have to buy other cat litter to mix together to use for my cat. Poop is ok.

Dust everywhere and stinks
Clumps well but leaves dust everywhere. After a month use, it stinks really badly (not from cat pee but some kind of rampant vinegary, rotten vegetable smell). Definitely not worth the price. I am going back to paper pellets…

Not impressed
Won’t purchase again, clumping not brilliant and end up wasting more. Totally unimpressed

Latest batch seems crap
This litter was previously amazing but the most recent bag I got was crap. It doesn't seem to clump as well as previously and is not nearly as absorbant. When I try to scoop out the pee it just breaks into bits and leaves horrible remnants of wet litter all over the litter box. I hope it was just a bad batch cause I have no idea what Im gonna use instead!

Not good for multiple cats
Environmentally friendly is a plus but this not good for more than one cat.

Clumps well but is dusty
Pros: the litter clumps well, I like the fact that it is flushable and better odour control than most
Cons: it is so dusty that it looks like my cat is wearing socks after using the litter box! We have to clean her paws off afterwards otherwise she leaves dusty paw prints all over the house

Good clumping but dusty
Clumps well, nice smell and it's alright at covering odours. However terribly dusty, have to wipe my cats paws after each use or she leaves dusty paw prints on the sofa

Bad smell and dusty!
Switched to this from Cats Best because I’d heard Worlds Best was better in terms of tracking and clumping. Although I do find it better in terms of tracking, it does become quite dusty. I could put up with this happily if it wasn’t for the smell! It smells horrible. The smell isn’t great when it’s clean but as soon as my cats pees in it, it’s disgusting, even when cleaned up straight away. Going back to Cats Best.

Dust free?
possibly the worst litter i have purchased. So much tracking and the dust is even worse! Disappointing.

Smells really bad!
It's fine for the first day or so while it's still clean but it doesn't clump properly so there's always some left in the litter tray after cleaning it. The only way this doesn't smell horrendously bad is to empty all of it out. When you do finally empty the tray there's like sawdust at the bottom. My cat refuses to use it if it's not been cleaned entirely. I bought a big bag and as it's so expensive I have to use it up.

It's too small.
Although it clumps well and does not smell when wee'd on. And it does flush well. I find because it is so small that it sticks to the cats paws and despite the litter mat and grate in our cat litter tray it still gets walked all over the house. Especially seen as sometimes it sticks to his fur close to his bottom.

Tracked everywhere...all over the house
I've never hoovered and mopped up so much in my life. The cat liked the litter and she's fussy, but it got between her toes and she walked it everywhere, just everywhere! And then I walked on her trails and it stuck to the bottom of my flipflops. Impossible to keep the mess in one area as wherever kitty walked she left a trail of bits. I bought clumping litter but it definitely did not clump, went like porrige when wet, no clumps to remove.

I Would Describe This As Fair But Definitely Not The Best
I used to buy this product when it first came on the market for my elderly cat who sadly passed away and I really liked it as did my wee girl . After trying numerous litters for my 2 rescue boys, i decided to buy this again after not using it for a few years but am disappointed as the product is not as good as it used to be and leaves a terrible, strong urine odour not only in the room but actually on one of my cats ! who has long black hair. It does clump well but tracks too much as well.

Review of all used litters
I have a creamy Persian cat. Throughout his 3 years with me I tried the following litters:
- Applaws Nature's Calling: My favourite and best of all. Has a pleasant smell, traps odours well (but, have to admit, not so good as Cat's Best Oko Plus), clumps reliably and lasts long (I usually pour half of pack at once, so 2 packs of 6kg last for 1,5-2 months). It does track a bit though, but least of all the litters I've tried and sweeping/hoovering once or twice a week is enough. The only minus is that it colours my cat's creamy paws as it is dark brown.
- Cat's Best Oko Plus: It traps odours very well, lasts for long (similar to Applaws) and has no issues with clumping. However, this is probably the worst tracking litter I had. I had to hoover/brush twice a day as little bits stick onto cat's paws and fur and is spread everywhere at home. I didn't even use all pack, switched back to Applaws.
- Cat's Best Nature Gold: Tried once. The pellets are really large and this makes clumping not so effective. I bought it because it said that it does not stick to fur and is suitable for long haired cats. Well, those pellets did stick to my cat's fur and tracked a lot. Though it is environmentally friendly and eliminates smells for some time. But loose litter eventually becomes smelly and you have to change it.
- Porta Pine Wood: Good cat litter, would rank it 2nd after Applaws. It smells fresh and is literally dust free, leaves no visible marks. It lasts long, great odour control, clumps well and my cat loved it. However, it tracks quite badly, but not as bad as Cat's Best Oko Plus.
- Catsan Hygiene: Not good at all. Never bought again. Clumps stay wet for a long time making it difficult to remove from the box, and when they dry they glue to the box so that I had to scratch them off. Controls smell bad, tracks a bit and clumps of wet litter stick to the fur. It is dusty and caused runny eyes and sneezing to my Persian friend.
- World's Best (Green and Red): Not good. Advised by vet after using Catsan Hygiene. It is dusty and didn't improve my cat's runny eyes much. It clumps very well, tracks a bit. Though it stinks horribly, probably because loose litter eventually starts smelling. Thus, no odour control. As such I do not remember it lasting long.
- Tygerino Crystals Silicate: Used in an emergency when my order was late. Disliked bad smell. It also runs out quickly, one pack lasted for 3 days, tracks a bit.

Not great
This litter works for neither the kitten nor us. First of all every time he comes out from the box his paws are covered in dust and that obviously go everywhere in outer flat. Sometimes little bits gets stuck on his paws in between his claws and it's almost impossible to get it off. The odour control is not great either. Apart from it clumps well and natural I can't find anything else good about it.

Tracks everywhere
This tracks worse than any other litter I've bought. Makes me worry about how hygienic it is.
Won't buy it again as I'm tired of finding litter everywhere.
It clumps brilliantly that cannot be denied.

Flushable good, clumping and odour control bad
I have tried a few litters now and I was happy that this one was flushable but clumps always fell apart and it wasn't good for odour control. I switched because we had new kittens but I will be going back to Oko Plus which I found was the best so far. Also, I change all the litter completely weekly, but after only a couple days, the odour in our covered litter is very strong and I noticed that the wee slowly got absorbed everywhere and miniture clumps were forming.
