Tigerino Crystals Clumping Cat Litter – Baby Powder Scent

My cats seem to like this litter but it doesn’t take all the smell away. I clean it every time it’s used but a urine smell still lingers. They don’t like the bigger crystal litter which I believe is better, but it’s no good if they don’t use it.

I bought this one by mistake as I usually buy the non- crystal version but I must admit I’m converted. Clumps extremely well and holds its integrity when you scoop. It only sets like concrete ( read other reviews), if you only put a shallow amount in the litter tray. Put it nice and deep and it’s a dream to ‘muck out’!

I've been using this litter for six months. As soon as my kitten uses the tray we remove the waste. The urine clumps well & turns yellow, making it very clear where he has been. He is a large lad (a maine coon, 6.2kg at nine months), & holds his bladder well. The litter lines his tray 56.5 x 43 x 13cm & lasts 4-5 weeks, although we top up a little from week 3.

I previously bought the Tigerino loose silicate but started to feel badly about the roughness on their paws - one cat now over 10 and another shelter cat that had to be litter trained as an adult. I now have two litter boxes with this and two with corn litter. They definitely have a preference for this soft silicate. Unlike the corn litter though, this stuff gets tracked all over the litter box area and it cannot be flushed so we keep small covered bins nearby.

I love this litter, it hides smells, leaves no tracking, clumps brilliantly. I’d give it 5 stars if it lasted longer, for me it didn’t last 30 days as stated in the description, it lasted more like 2 weeks, but still the lack of tracking and smells makes up for it! I will be buying again and would highly recommend to anyone.

Apart from being a fuss pot my beautiful male Siamese was recently diagnosed with moderate kidney failure and he also has arthritis from a fall that happened before he came to us so he will only use cat little that is soft on his paws and smells right. Having tried everything from the Worlds greatest to every size of clay imaginable we had settled on a very fine-grained bentonite clay but sadly despite what they say on the packet that does produce dust which was making me cough so being Asthma

I have used the Tigerino Crystals for years and thought to give this a try. Its good as it totally prevents odours and when the cat pee's after about a hour its a hard clump which can be scooped out. This makes for a longer lasting product compared to the crystals version which eventually goes mushy after a short period at the bottom of the litter box. Is quite messy when the cats jump out as the litter seems to stick to their pads.

I'm updating my review from a few years ago to confirm that this silica litter is very fine, like table salt. On its own, I don't like it much—it forms clumps that fall apart as soon as you try to remove them. But it becomes excellent if you mix it with regular clumping clay litter. Give this method a go: it doesn't spread around the house too much and boosts the absorbency and deodorising power of standard litters!

This is the best cat litter for us. We've tried all sorts, but we think this one smells the least. It also doesn't get stuck between my cats' toes like other litters have done. It definitely creates a bit of dust, but the advantages outweigh that.

The product, which complements another one (Multipack savings! 6 x 5 L Tigerino Crystals Cat Litter) that I receive every 16 weeks, is a bit more convenient and works well for its purpose. The delivery was very prompt.

The litter was very well accepted by the cats. The smell is well neutralized and the litter also clumps very well. Unfortunately, there is a lot of dust.
