This isn't XL silica sand, the granules are the size of regular silica sand.

The crystal granules are no longer XL, they're the same size as regular Tigerino Crystals. The absorption of the crystals is satisfactory.

Like others, I've noticed a change. Several years ago, I was full of praise: I used to buy the XXL variety, which had perfectly sized grains for trays with a sieve. Unfortunately, that variety has disappeared from the catalogue. The XL variety still has the benefits of lasting a long time and being odourless, which is really appreciated... However, it produces A LOT OF FINE DUST, which settles everywhere and is tough on my vacuum cleaner (a high-end one, made for pets).
