Tigerino Nuggies Cat Litter – Spring Meadow Scent

We have used wood pellet and cat's best before. Recently bought Tigerino on offer to give it a go. Overall the "poo master" (ie my OH) prefers this to other types of litter. It absorbs smell very well, when used with a proper mat it hardly track. It does, however, stick to the bottom a bit, making it not as easy to scoop as other clumping litter. We also have muddy prints as a result of it not dry soon enough (we have two young kittens who enjoys excessive burying).

This is fantastic litter in that it soaks up liquid really well, leaving easily removable clumps. The odour is lovely too and the cats have picked the litter tray with this in it over another brand! The only downslde, and the reason for taking one star off, is the tracking...this stuff gets everywhere! I have got the mats that are supposed to stop this litter from being tracked but they don't stop it, it still tracks because it's so fine.

Been using this for the best part of 2 years and it's without doubt the best cat litter I have used. I have 2 cats and they use one litterbox. The cats love it and it smells fresh.

I thought I’d give this litter a bash as my cat was making a jolly old mess with her previous litter. Big mistake, the clumps of urine break up and the smell when I clean it is vile. It almost makes me sick. I’m going back to my previous litter and will tolerate the mess. PS my previous litter is the best cat litter in the world.

Clumps together very well. Would track and be visible if you had a light carpet. Very cheap compared to others i have used nice light scent also. Will buy again.

I'm going to compare Catsan Ultra, Golden White (Golden Grey brand), and Tigerino Nuggies. None of them are perfect. The Catsan is expensive, the Golden White a little too powdery/scented. Nuggies combats the first two but lets itself down by its clumping power. Value: excellent Tracking: minimal compared to the others Clumping: meh - you need great care - like playing 'Operation' such that you don't disrupt any pee-balls. Golden wins for clumping. Nugs for tracking/value. One of the best.

I have had cats for 20 years now and I must have been lucky to have good litter throughout those years based on this litter. I thought I would give this a try as the litter I usually have and have had for a few years now ( cats best) was tracking all over my carpets with little bits that needed vacuuming daily, so I thought maybe clay wouldn't be as bad...well one it is just as bad, more like sand leaving grit everywhere and 2 the smell is awful it literally makes me gag. going back to cats best

This was great for clumping the litter But. The amount of grains throughout the house was unbelievable. I was forever brushing up all day. It was that bad. I lasted for 2 weeks. And couldn’t cope anymore. And changed back to my other one.

We tried this after switching from non-clumping litter and was very pleased. Clumps well, not much odour. Our cat drinks well which does however result in huge clumps that end up quite heavy that require daily scooping. Fine grains end up tracking throughout the house - not outrageous but it does stick between pads and paws which means the bathroom is constantly 'grainy' and sometimes our bed falls victim to a few crumbs.

Clumps really well, scatters less, so less mess & less wasted cat litter. Didn't really notice the 'Fresh' fragrance, but seems to contain the piddle pong quite well, so well worth a try.

We have 2 bengals who are 6 and a half years old. We tried all sorts of different cat litter. We came across this one and thought wow the reviews are great it must be an amazing cat litter. When I then changed the litter tray it didn't take long for it to smell... not just a bit but the whole flat absolutely stank of urine. My partner told me to change it and I said I already have done a couple of hours ago... so now I have to take the poo and pee corners out a couple of times a day and it still smells like I haven't done that for a week! I just finished off the second 14 litter bag which I was debating to just throw away but I used it as i was going through it like no ones businesses anyway due to making a full litter tray change at least every 3-5 days. I have had cat litter last for over a month... only needed to top up a little here and there. I cannot say how disappointed about the performance of this cat litter. Stay away is my advice!

Lovely fine sand with no daft aromas but boy does it stop any smell. Urine goes into a small clump which is easily removed and flushes away. No waste and just top it up after loads of clump removals. I have tried lots of really expensive brands over the years but this is definately the best. 5* recommendation.

I read the reviews and thought great, this will help with the odour control. How wrong was I. As soon as my 4 month kittens used this my house stank. I cleaned it out straight away but the smell didn't go. so here i am cleaning it out every hour or so. Looking for mess or urine even when it hasn't been used because it smells so bad. I line my trays but my kittens scratch through and this stuff makes a gluey substance once combined with urine which is hard to get off the tray.

I ordered this one because the catsan ultra clumping one was out of stock, and I don't like the ones with the larger grains. It was a fantastic value for money and it clumps really well. I scoop their tray out daily, so I'm not sure how well it works if left for longer, but it's absolutely perfect for us.

I tried this as similar to other litter I've bought in the past but this one does not contain odour as well as other types. it clumps some well but if not changed very regularly, it is difficult to separate some urine, the odour control is not so good and due to the location of my trays, I can't continue using this product.

Perfect litter for my two cats, aged 4 and 2.

I wanted to try it because the price was quite low. But I wouldn’t recommend it—the smells stay strong, and it’s very thin so it creates a kind of dust everywhere. But it’s mainly the smell that bothers me; it doesn’t absorb odours well enough.

It's a comfortable litter, easy to clean and doesn't smell.

We usually buy the premium one, it's good. We thought we'd try this as well, but unfortunately it doesn't clump at all, it just falls apart.

Ordered because of the so-called good clumping, but unfortunately the smell is unbearable and it completely falls apart!

I've been using it for many years. This scent suits me and my cat the most. The litter doesn't absorb odours as well as it used to. It seems to be dustier now. It still clumps, but much less than before. Like others writing here, I use an odour absorber and filters, and I agree that without them it would be tough.

After trying out many different types of litter, we settled on this one. It suits us perfectly and our cats like it too. However, the packaging of the parcels containing the litter bags often leaves much to be desired. It's rare for a bag to arrive in perfect condition. There are often leaks. With our last order, the bags were torn open.

Quite disappointed... and my cats even more so. First of all, the smells aren't absorbed at all, even when the litter has been completely changed the day before. Then, the urine doesn't clump together and the litter just crumbles instead of forming a block when cleaning. Obviously, that doesn't help with the smells and my cats aren't happy either.

The clumps fall apart when cleaning, so there’s always some dirty litter left in the cat tray. And unfortunately, it doesn’t smell like grass either. I was really disappointed. I usually use the premium one and it’s so much better.

It's dusty, but much less so than the XL grain special for big cats. It clumps urine well and quickly. My two Maine Coons prefer it. Downside: the grains are small, so the cats track more of it out of the litter box.

Catastrophic. The first pack was good. So I ordered two more. They create the biggest cloud of dust I've ever seen from a cat litter. Never buying again.

Terrible doesn’t even begin to cover it. It looks like it clumps, but when you scoop it up, almost everything slips through the scoop. And whoever decided to call the scent 'spring meadow' has clearly never smelled a meadow in their life.

I really regret buying this. When I pour it out, it creates a massive cloud of dust. It clumps into little balls, but as soon as I try to scoop them out of the tray, they just fall apart. So cleaning it is extremely fiddly and unpleasant. Not to mention, it doesn't trap odours at all – it gets incredibly smelly.

I’ve tried several types of litter and I’ve been using this one for a while now and I’m really happy with it. There’s no smell of pee and the litter tray stays clean for longer. I recommend it.

It clumps very poorly and absorbs odours just as badly, even though it’s fine-grained. Its performance is like just pouring regular sand into the litter box.

The cat litter itself is actually good, but the bags are always broken. I don’t know why they can’t be more careful. Last time, all the cat litter was loose in the box.

Unfortunately, I’m not satisfied with this cat litter. There’s a lot of tracking around the litter box and the product creates quite a bit of dust. On top of that, the clumps fall apart easily, which makes cleaning more difficult. On the plus side, the odour control works well: unpleasant smells are kept in check and the litter box doesn’t start to smell bad as quickly.

As a CAT breeder, I recommend this as a litter. The scent is very pleasant and the absorption quality is excellent.
