My 2 cats have been on Nullodor litter for over 5 years.It is the only kind of Silica litter in the smooth round form I can find ( not sharp crystals) which is easy on cat's feet. Cats do bring litters out of the litter box doesn't matter what kind of litter .simply just put a cat mat to trap the litter in front of the box . For 2 cats sharing one closed box with a swing door: change about 1 time / week . no smells . Nulldor now has a new colored one ( more expensive ) and not as good as this

Just tried this and have to say it's great in so many ways - no smell - no mess. You only need to remove the solids daily (very quick and easy) with a complete change every 10-14 days (I have 2 cats). They've taken to it straight away with no fuss as it's always clean and dry. The only problem I had was when I tried to use it with a self cleaning tray (the one that rolls). It doesn't clump and is made of fine granules which found their way out of the join in the tray and ended up all over the floor!! Ordinary trays are fine. It seems quite expensive but lasts much longer than other types so isn't really - just a lot quicker, cleaner and less hassle.
