For my 10 yr old shiny, shaggy coated, black cat Bertie, a CP rescue 4 months ago, this litter is perfect! He is a very large cat, so this litter and an XXL litter tray has proved to be toilet heaven. You must put the minimum depth in the tray or more, and wait a while before removing it. I use a small shovel ( designed for kitchen surface,) and can remove the pancake in one action. Absolutely no odour at all. I bought the double skinned litter mat from Zooplus to trap sand litter on paws.

If you can get past the way it clumps into a weird paste, this litter is excellent. It's fine grained, but tracks a lot less on my long haired cat than other fine litters I'vetried. Smells great, clumps incredibly well (despite the paste) so it is easy to seperate out the waste with a scoop without wastage. One bag lasted my one cat an entire winter, (4 months+) so it's cost effective too. Plus, it is compostable. Will be my goto litter from now on.

I have tried many premium cat litters on the market and this one is excellent, I really don’t understand the poor reviews at all, you can completely remove any liquids that it comes in contact with, it is not gooey like some have stated it’s solid, I only clean ever month with a little top up Inbetween, I can honestly say there there is smell whatsoever, don’t be afraid to use this due to its price you will not need to change each week I get the feeling some are using far to little to give 1*

With two bengals we’ve tested many different brands of clumping/non clumping litter / crystals In the end only two stood out for minimal amounts of dust / clumping ability / odour absorption This by far ticks most of the boxes with Catsan Ultra being a close second ( bit to pricy ) • Smells great (natural smell) • Odour absorption excellent (won’t notice a smell at all for the first 10-14 days if you fill the litter box properly) • Clumping ability - I could argue that this clumps best

Doesn’t smell much and the clumping makes it so much easier to clean. Cats enjoy it and it doesn’t make as much of a mess

I’ve being buying this for over year, I have two indoor cats and two litter trays and this litter lasts about 5 weeks, I scoop daily, the clumping makes it so easy, I think people who have had problems don’t put enough littler in the tray.

I don't understand the bad reviews on this litter,as I am using it for the first time and find it excellent, my cats are fine with it and clumping is great comes out of my litter tray with ease will buy again

I adopted my cat and was told she wouldn't use any other litter than the clay one. I really hated it so tried this and it took her a tiny bit to get used to but now her and all her babies love it. Way better than clay and yeah it pastes a bit sometimes but honestly I prefer it so much For the people who say this is bad whats the better one you've been using as I love this compared to others I've seen and haven't found anything better but if this is a bad one I'd love to use a good one

I switched to this after having tried cheaper clumping brands, as well as more expensive pellet/eco brands. My cats used to carry the eco litter particles all around the house in a matter of hours. Having 5 cats my house was a huge mess very fast. This sand might not be corn, tofu or pellet, but it has enough weight for my cats to not disperse it that easily and also it's extremely absorbing with a great clump, so I save a ton of money.

This is a great cat litter. It does a serious clumping job and I can't understand how other reviewers complain that pee gets stuck in the bottom and it clumps. I wonder whether they prefer their entire sand smelling bad with non-clumping litter? I tried Cat's Best for some time and while it offered excellent clumping, my 5 cats were carrying it all across the house to the point that my house looked super dirty within 24hrs This one has heavier grains so not so easy to transfer.

I am so happy to found this litter, no stink, easy to scoop, fluffs happy to use I happy to scoop. The trick is you have to fill up the tray more than with normal litters I fill it till the bottom bit of the box and don’t stick to the bottom then. It’s fairly hard to remove but atleast doesn’t stink so we keep buying this product.

I have been using this cat litter for several years and find it easy to scoop out of the tray. The cat litter has a fairly neutral scent. Only issue is that it is expensive compared to other clumping cat litters. But both cats like it so will continue to buy.

I was slightly unsure switching from usual Catsan litter with my two moggies - but no problems. A bit finer so sticks in paws, but shaken out cat style! No odour at all with this which is pleasantly surprising. Wee clings in a big ‘ball’ clump which is a bit odd at first, but really easy to scoop and clear. Seems to last longer than usual litter - so off-sets additional cost for the bag. 5/5 from me and the mogs.

My cats love this litter and so do I no more smells, if you have a good litter tray it does not stick to the bottom. I tried this last year and it did stick to bottom of litter tray with my new litter tray it does not stick and I am glad I gave this litter another try! Happy cats happy me!

Tried a number of different types, either cats wouldn't use it or it was too dusty, or stuck to paws. This is the best kitty little we have found and our 4 furbabies will use it. Win win all round.

Changed my life. The absolute key to using this litter is keep it as deep as possible so that the urine doesn’t reach the bottom of the tray, meaning you won’t need to clean the tray or change the litter, only top it up. Also, leave the clumps to settle for a few mins before removing from tray so that they form proper lumps. I use a disposable latex glove to remove clumps, I then remove glove from the wrist so that it comes off inside out with the clump ending up inside the glove, tie in a knot.

This is an excellent litter! It clumps together and when the waste is scoped out, it's like new. Pleasant, natural scent. I was looking for a biodegradable litter and this is great. The only thing is it does get stuck on my kitten's paws, but I think it's unavoidable. Trails as much as any other litter.

I’m very skeptical when trying out new things especially after reading mix reviews. However I’m so so glad I took my chances on this product. Although yes it can stick to the bottom but compared to SO many other litter type.... this is by FAR the best I’ve found. No lingering smells, The clump comes out in one so if using a scoop, it doesn’t sift through going in the clean litter. Don’t think I’ll be changing litter type anytime soon!

Although it sticks like sand, i have found the best way of dealing with that by putting a bin bag at the bottom of the tray so when it is time to throw it away i just pick up the bag. So far, this is the best at odour control
