I’ve used catsan clumping litter before and thought it was brilliant. I thought I was buying the same product here but it’s completely different. This one tracks everywhere, is pretty small pieces so it’s quite dense in the tray too, which makes the cats dig around a lot more. Although we have a large hooded litter box it still gets everywhere. It does not seem to stay fresh for as long as other litter either, even though I scoop it out as soon as possible after they’ve used it.

The sand does clump in the litter box but the clump stays very wet and difficult to scoop. The moment you scoop, it falls apart into small wet smelly pieces and takes ages to remove. Since the pee stays wet, the litter box itself is also smelly even after cleaning. Might be suitable for one cat that doesn't pee very much but otherwise, very disappointing and I will not repurchase.
