Biokat's Classic 3in1 Cat Litter

We decided to try this instead of the Micro litter. It scores well on tracking and odour control but it does NOT deal well with any clumps bigger than a golf ball; they either fall apart like wet sand as you pick them up or break apart during. Both our fine and larger scoop can't deal with 1 of the sizes of granules; with the above means we're just throwing out a lot of good litter in a bid to remove any contaminated litter. It does however combine well with the Micro litter.

I usually have the original biokats 60days in the blue packaging,however it wasnt available the last time i ordered,so opted for this instead.Every day the smell of urine has been getting stronger despite scooping twice a day ,several inches of litter in the tray and while it clumps good (if your cat goes central in the tray,mine tends to go right at the edge so it makes it hard to scoop and always breaks apart,just emotied the whole lot away as the smell was so strong

I was hoping this would be the one, unfortunately not, our cats have a tendency to P on the outer edge of the tray, not out of the tray, but the inside of the outer edge, and this doesn't seem to cope with that, it goes to the base and sets like cement, hell of a job clearing it out, keep thinking the scoop will break, but sometimes they do go in the middle, and when they do it does quite well at catching it, and clumps well, but on the edge, or it reaching the base it sets solid, so OK for some

Clumps well, but creates a lot of dust. I won't buy it again.

The grains are too big for my cats. It's a bit like fine gravel.

The quality of this litter has really gone downhill in the past few months. It's almost impossible to remove the clumps from the cat litter boxes without them falling apart. As a result, you can't properly clean everything out without wasting "unused" litter.
