Biokat's Organic Care Plant Fibres Cat Litter

Tried a lot of litters over the years and this is by far the best 👌. Clumps, brilliant, smells, no smell. Plus the tracking from pretty paws, hardly any! Yes it's expensive but worth it.

I tested it: one litter box with regular litter, one with Biocats Organic Care. What can I say, my tomcat made his choice—the other box wasn’t used anymore, so only the Biocats litter. It doesn’t create dust, has no smell, and binds odours really well.

Up until now, I was using bentonite litter, but when my cat started having respiratory problems, I switched to this litter. It hardly creates any dust at all, doesn’t stick to paws or fur (Norwegian Forest Cat), and it absorbs odours really well.

I tried out this litter because I really care about the environment. And let me tell you! Forget about Cats Best and all those other wood litters. These plant fibres aren’t just good for the environment, they also clump incredibly well! The clumps are really solid and can be scooped out easily, plus it smells lovely. I’ll definitely stick with this one.

I have the version with activated carbon, but that doesn’t make any difference to my review. Unlike a few others, I can’t understand their criticism. This litter really produces very little dust. Compared to bentonite, it’s a real relief for the lungs – including mine! I couldn’t detect any woody or musty smell either. The litter smells completely neutral, or at most extremely faint. There’s nothing sharp-edged about it, either.

Very good litter, it's similar to Cat's Best, it's made from plant-based material. I've tried several kinds and this one is definitely the best. It clumps really well, and once the cats have used it, it hides the smell very well—even though I have several cats. I recommend it.
