Set: Microchip Cat Flap + Hub
Disappointing product
You cannot fully control the flap for each pet. Specifically, you cannot have seperate in/out curfew times for each pet - such a shame because it could easily be done via a software update.
Despite being able to set United Kingdom as the location, it completely failed to update the time to BST, despite the phone App having the updated time and you have to manually go into the app and alter any curfew times to start and finish an hour earlier.

Caused me a year of stress
An expensive product that has never worked as promised. I’ve been in contact with them for over a year, each time I tell them the problems, they keep me hanging on with promises that a new door will fix the issue. It didn’t. A whole new flap was sent. The problems persisted. They assured me it wasn’t the hub. They blamed “cat behaviour” yep! It’s MY FAULT that my cat exits & enters through the flap in a way that is so wild that their product can’t reasonably be expected to work for. Don’t buy.

Worth the money
Would definitely recommend this cat flap. Easy to install and free app is easy to navigate. Worth the extra money compared to other microchip cat flaps to be able to keep an eye on which cats are inside and outside. The app pushes notifications when your cat enters or leaves through the catflap.

Amazing gadget worth every penny
I had this installed by a glazier into a double glazed patio door. It looks great but that was also expensive.
I had a few teething troubles but the help desk was very responsive and sorted that out within days.
I love that I can set the door for each cat independently. Also the tracker feature so I know who’s in and who’s out. So well designed.

Excellent product
I upgraded from the microchip sureflap which worked flawlessly for 9 years. Love the extra control with this connected catflapa and the ability to give remote control to my cat sitter when she needs to know the cat is in to give medication.

Just got my microchip cat flap and hub and its work perfect,its shows you movments of your cat on the app.The hub is very cute with that cat ears.

Not what it's made out to be.
You NEED the hub otherwise buy a basic flap. Without the hub - only set indoor/outdoor access. Change - de-register and register cat/s each time individually. Certainly not practical when you want cats to stay in at night and go out during the day. and/or have different permissions depending on each cat. To top it off you need to position the hub within line of sight of the hub AND connect it to your router at the same time.....a feat nigh on impossible in most households.

Having three cats, two of which need special medical diets, I invested in these feeders and I'm delighted. Each cat has their own feeder and their own food, no competition, no stealing (although technically it's possible from the back). It's quiet, my cats quickly got the hang of it thanks to the training mode, and it's easy to clean. The app lets you track their meals and set portions. In short, this thing is brilliant.

Money down the drain, unfortunately
For this price, I really expected it to have a rechargeable battery, but instead it runs on batteries—and not even a standard size, but one that hardly anyone has at home and is only sold in DIY stores.

I have two cats. One of them has this kind of feeder, but an older model, and it works perfectly. It closes quickly when she leaves. The new one I bought for my other cat, who needs veterinary food, takes much longer to close (even on the fastest setting!)

The wet food stays fresh all day
I've been using this feeding bowl for years. Very satisfied. I work during the day and my cat eats small amounts throughout. I've been using feeding bowls from this brand for over a decade now and never had a problem unless it was caused by the user (connection issues due to electromagnetic interference, metal, etc.). I use rechargeable lithium batteries without any issues (definitely give it a try!). Each bowl has indeed been replaced at least once in that time, but isn't that the case with any electronics (motors)? At the moment, I have three very large Maine Coons who have no trouble accessing them.

Could be better

Good in the end
Happy with the end result even though getting there was a bit tricky.
Order the mounting adapter straight away if you have metal in your front door, as the metal interferes with the chip reader. I first tried adding an extra air gap at the top, but eventually gave up and bought the adapter so I could cut a slightly taller hole in the door (I didn’t make it any wider).
I also received a returned item, which would’ve been fair enough if I’d been given the choice myself or got an extra discount or something like that.

I’m writing this even though I don’t think you’re as silly as I am... I tried out the cat flap in my old house before moving and everything was fine. In the new place, as soon as I installed it on the glass door, I realised it stuck out too much and stopped the shutter from coming down. Dead after a short time – very expensive lesson
This is really a bad cat flap. It was the first one we bought, and we seriously regret not just getting a cheap one for 100kr that has the same functions (though manual and without an app). You can actually count on the cheap one to work! Within a couple of months, this one started draining the batteries in no time. We had to buy new, very expensive batteries every week. Then it generally started acting up and locking the cats out (we had set it so the cats could ALWAYS get in).

Where’s the insulation?
I’ve just installed the cat flap.
I already had the Hub because I bought the “smart bowl”, which I have to say I was really happy with.
However, this system was installed in a newly built house with an A+++ energy rating, and it was very disappointing to discover that there’s no insulation at all. I installed several extension pieces, since my wall is 30cm thick plus the insulation layer.

Works well
I bought the SureFeed Connect without the hub at first because I wanted to get used to the bowl on its own. I got the hub a few weeks later (it’s definitely an investment!). Based on the reviews, I had a few worries but the setup was easy. The hub is in my living room and the bowl is in the kitchen, about 8 metres apart, and it works well. We’ll see how it goes over time.
