Cat escapes
The installation of the cat flap and the flap itself works without any issues. Unfortunately, our cat can also escape without any trouble. Within a month, she figured out how to bypass the lock.

other cats coming in
I have this cat flap, however another cat is still managing to get in to my house when it is locked.
I have had it for 3 years , but can not seem to fin out what the problem could be , or how to try and rectify it

Unfortunately, it didn’t even last half a year.
Unfortunately, the cat flap didn’t even last half a year. The flap broke off at the hinge along with part of the door. I’m now ordering a second one because the cut-out in the glass was made specifically for this flap. I really hope it lasts longer this time. If I weren’t dependent on the dimensions, I wouldn’t buy it again.

Unfortunately, not as sturdy as promised.
The flap is nice and works well, but unfortunately, it’s not very sturdy. About three-quarters of a year after installation, the door broke off because one of the cats dashed through it too forcefully. Since then, I’ve been sticking it back together repeatedly with superglue. Yesterday, it happened again, and now the corner with the hinge is nowhere to be found. Is the door available as a spare part for purchase?

Not a very sturdy flap
I already have to buy the third door because the flap on the other two broke off. I have the flap installed in the balcony door, and three cats regularly use it.
Why the flap broke off is beyond my understanding.
In strong winds, the flap often moves along... but it really should be able to withstand that.
It's frustrating that you can't just reorder the flap on its own.

cheap material
Looks alright, but because of the round design, you can't just switch to a different flap as the hole doesn't fit (too wide). Our cat (quite small) has already broken the cheap plastic flap door for the third time (3!!!), seems like it's a deliberate weak point – of course, there are no replacement flaps available! Better steer clear of it.

Broken door again and again
Unfortunately, my cats are among the more active ones and have already managed to break the door three times! As has been described many times before, the pins and corners of the inner door always break. I tried gluing it once, but the next time it was the other side. :-( I can't try an alternative either, as the matching hole is already in the window. Sure, they're not expensive, but being able to buy individual doors would be very practical! Next time, I'll keep the receipt and contact the manufacturer about the 3-year warranty. :-)

FLAP KEEPS FREEZING!!
For three days now, the flap has been almost permanently frozen shut. On the first night, I didn’t notice, and my cat was left outside all night in -8 degrees. According to the manufacturer, customers have supposedly never complained about this issue, but I can’t imagine I’m the only one experiencing this problem. Even zooplus claims they’ve never received a complaint. This is irresponsible in terms of design. WHAT CAN I DO?? DOES ANYONE HAVE TIPS or experiences to share??
