Does the job! However, ceramic, glass or porcelain would be better as a material. This bowl can otherwise cause issues like chin acne in cats! :/

Makes sure that food isn’t gobbled up too quickly. What I like is that the grooves aren’t too deep. I have another anti-gulp bowl with higher ridges, which I now use for treats, as it’s harder to get wet food out of that one (tongue too short).
