This bowl is a god send , keeps the raw cat food fresher longer . I had already got the microchip version for one of my cats who is on a different diet so along with this bowl for my other cats it's a godsend... Highly recommend

The idea of the device is good, but unfortunately, my two cats don’t like the bowls themselves, even before they’re placed in the feeder. Somehow, they don’t seem to like the eating position. They’re also scared of the feeder itself, and this hasn’t changed even after it’s just been standing around without being used. Such a shame – now the expensive thing is just sitting there unused.

Excellent training programme, thank you for that, it worked perfectly!! Unfortunately, high energy consumption, which is probably unavoidable. Batteries don’t last long during continuous use. A porcelain bowl would be better. Plastic/metal aren’t odour-neutral and can promote chin acne in cats (I know this from a trained cat expert). Many thanks nonetheless for this great, helpful device!

The product arrived on time and in its original packaging. After a short adjustment period, it was accepted by our cats. However, the problem is that it doesn’t keep the food fresh, and the smell is still noticeable. It’s less intense, but you can still tell it’s there. On top of that, fruit flies can easily get in and out. Since there’s unfortunately no comparable alternative on the market, I understand the positive reviews. But the manufacturer really should improve the product.

Finally, I can feed my cat without any stress. Just once a day, and it stays fresh, the flat doesn’t smell, and there’s no problem with flies in the summer. The price is steep, but honestly, I think it’s a must-have for every cat household.

My cat took to it very quickly. Good easy to use product although the opening and closing gets a little noisy over time even with cleaning and battery change.

I have now purchased 3 SureFeed airtight feeding bowls. Two for my cat (one for dry food, one for wet food) and one for the neighbour's cat. My cat accepted the bowl straight away, without any training programme! I'm thrilled. The neighbour's cat is taking a bit longer, but now he's no longer afraid of it. This feeder is just very well thought out, just like the SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap. Top-notch!

We bought two devices four years ago because our flat always smelled of cat food. Plus, in summer, we had flies in the flat that quickly laid eggs in the wet food. The automatic feeders completely serve their purpose for this. No smell, no more flies, and the cats accepted the feeders straight away. However, I’m deducting one star because cleaning them is difficult. One feeder no longer closes properly, and the price is quite steep.

The food stays fresh for a really long time. The bowl is quite large. My tomcat accepted it pretty quickly without any learning curve. We’re thrilled.

We love this machine. Now we no longer have to keep constant watch to make sure our big boy doesn’t steal the cat’s food. We’ve also got the big boy’s weight under better control, and the cat can spread out her snacks throughout the day as she likes. Thanks to the inventor, everything is so much more relaxed at home 🥰 thank you, thank you, thank you! (The big boy always looks so hilariously baffled when hers opens and his doesn’t) 🤭

I wouldn’t want to be without this product in my cat household anymore. The wet food stays fresh for an impressively long time. My furry friends quickly got used to this device.

Finally, fresh food for the little ones without having to swap it out every two hours. They didn’t need any training programme at all—just went straight for it, flinched slightly when the lid opened, and then the bowl was empty 😄. The sensors have been working perfectly so far, and we bought new stainless steel bowls.

We’ve been using our SureFeed continuously for three years now, and I thank the manufacturer every single day for this brilliant invention. The food doesn’t smell, stays fresh for much longer, and no more disgusting fly eggs in the summer despite the horse paddock next door. However, we quickly swapped out the plastic bowls for stainless steel ones. They come out of the dishwasher perfectly. Clear recommendation to buy.

Finally, no more dried-out food and no flies around the food. It works well and is easy to clean. There’s room for improvement regarding environmental friendliness due to the battery operation. Offering a suitable mains adapter would be perfect. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a mains adapter for 4 AA batteries.

The product works really well and has a very good training programme so all 3 cats despite timidity mastered the bowls. Keeps the food fresh so now no waste and no flies in the summer when windows are open. Easy to keep clean and in fact it encourages the cats to be less messy eaters. The mechanism still works even if the cats aren’t perfect eaters. From my experience I would recommend.

The cats quickly learned how to use the bowl. The food doesn’t dry out. No smell in the house. Easy to keep clean. The stainless steel insert bowls can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher. Never going back to another bowl. PS: Customer service was immediately on hand when the sensor was defective. The replacement device arrived the next day.
