Trixie Ceramic Bowl for Short-Nosed Breeds

Even though my cats are not short-nosed, I bought two of these thinking they'd be great, as most cats don't like their sensitive whiskers and noses to touch the bowl. However, this bowl is raised in the middle, in such a way that all the kibbles slip to the edges of the bowl and my cats refuse to eat out of it.

I got a nasty splinter in my finger from this bowl. If that had ended up in the cat’s stomach, our little darling probably wouldn’t have survived. I’m shocked. The paint on the cute bowl chips off really easily. And once it’s damaged, the paint breaks into tiny, razor-sharp splinters. I threw the bowl straight in the bin.
