Like others who gave this cat bed one star I agree the quality of the fluff is unacceptable. See my photos of it. Apart from not being knotted in to the base fabric, it is I suspect, acrylic which simply tears apart. Acrylic is very bad for cats if they eat it or ingest the dust. The design of the cat bed is brilliant. If only you could make it with better materials. I have photos but cannot find how to add them.

My elderly cat just loves comfort and warmth. As soon as I put this in her favourite spot and placed one of her blankets inside, she couldn't get in fast enough. She absolutely loves it, and I'm delighted. It's really snuggly and cosy, and good value too

My cat spends most of the day and all of the night in this bed now that the weather is colder. An inistant success. The only problem is that when I washed it I forgot to tie the gathering cord securely and it came out in the machine so I now have to thread it back in...if I can find a time when the cat isn't sleeping in there. Good value.

My bengal likes to sit on the windowsill and this is the perfect size for her to stretch out and lounge on all day. When it’s time to go to bed we pull the cords and it changes into a snuggly bed which we lift and put elsewhere.

I was so glad to discover this brilliant design but the fact that the 'fur' is not knotted into a fabric means that it comes out very easily when my cat is 'kneading'. I really hope that you can restock with properly constructed fur.

These are the first beds that I have ever bought and my cats have used straight away. So much so I had to order more so I want moving them up and down the stairs. Very happy and would definitely recommend. Love the versatility of them to. Can open them if the weather is warmer and tighten them when it's colder.

Bought one of these for my 18 year old cat. It soon became a ‘communal ‘ bed shared with my Havanese dog and cat. To avoid double occupancy, I bought another! Both have had other beds that they didn’t use.

I have had four of these beds in the conservatory for a few years, to please the cats and keep the furniture hair free. Both cats love sleeping out there, particularly when it is raining! They have now taken to sleeping on a spare bed upstairs at night time. But when one was settled, the other would come in and jockey for position. The answer was two more of these great beds. When I went to bed last night, they were each in their own bed, fast asleep, and didnt move till morning.

This would have been a good product if not the fact that the material it is made of is of an appalling quality. On the inside of this bed bits of fluff keep coming out. I find them on my cat and around the house. You literally just need to stroke the material and bits of the plush come out. It is not only a nuisance for me but dangerous for the cat as she is probably ingesting it while grooming her coat. This item should not be sold.

These beds are lovely. You can pull them up into a cosy cocoon for cats to snuggle into, but open them out for washing. I have two cats, but four beds, as I put them on the chairs in the conservatory where they spend a lot of time. This gives them a choice of sleeping places, and keeps the cushions clean!

I'm ordering another one because l didn't know how it would appeal to my cats, but one of them slept in it all night until l came downstairs this morning. It's so soft and well made, and an excellent price as well

My cats are fussy and never used the other beds i have bought but they adore these beds and sleep in them all the time. Best bed ever.

fabouolus place for a cat to take a nap or just watch world go by. nicely done, soft and cosy material. easy to clean with vacuum cleaner. my cat loves it :)

We wanted two warm beds to put down by our French Windows so our two boys could see out into the garden whilst being comfy and cosy . As soon as we put them down they were in them. They like their own beds and now there is no more arguments . The beds are nice and thick so the cold floor does bother them anymore and they are easy to vac out as they fold flat once you undo the laces. Haven't tried washing them yet but they look really well made .

These beds are so soft and cosy. Two cats curl up in mine, and they choose these over any other bed. So lovely on cold winter nights.

Bought this for my cat Fin, however, her brother Mak claimed this one! It is great, gives my lap a break. Very snuggled and when really content, he is spread eagled on his back having one big cat nap! Will be ordering another one for Fin. I bought this bed and a different one for my cats for xmas. Having left it out in the spare room, ready for wrapping I found one of my cats happily snuggled up in it. Later I found the other had also discovered the comfortable delights of this bed! Hence having to invest in another so that my cats can have one each and the smaller bed I bought will be going to a local cat charity!!

Bunny, my very particular girly went straight into this and snuggled up, nice design, very warm snuggly material, very cozy. Only downside is that its quite thin, had to put a cushion uderneath it before placing on my stone floors otherwise the moggies will feel the cold through it. Perfect for the terrace in the sun or to place on the sofa etc.

First, I bought one bed. I have a few cats and they almost fought over who would get to lie in it first. Sometimes two of them would squeeze in together and they really loved it. That’s why I bought a few more of these beds. Now there’s peace and quiet – there’s a spot for every cat, and there’s no more arguing about who gets to lie inside and when. The bed is practical too, because you can have the sides raised or lay it out completely flat. We’re all happy with it.

It's a nice little basket, you can adjust the size by pulling the cord, but you can also use it as a blanket. And you can just put it in the washing machine.

Was accepted immediately and is now the favourite sleeping spot. Very easy to clean and great that it's so adjustable thanks to the drawstring tunnel.

The bed has been a big hit – now the dog and cat take turns using it!

Puts all the 'expensive' beds in the shade. My little mini dachshund claimed it from the very first moment. Brilliant. It would be great if it came in various fabric options.

Our Tibetan Spaniel spends half his life in this basket. On top of that, our Sheltie also loves lying on it, even though it obviously doesn’t fit. Still, he’d rather lie on this basket than in his own bed. We bought another one so we can pop it in the washing machine every now and then. The baskets have been washed loads of times already, but they’re still perfect. If I had to mention a downside, the bottom is a bit thin, but the dogs couldn’t care less.

Bought for a puppy, seems very comfortable and cosy, maybe a bit too warm for summer. Will have to see how it holds up with use and if it suits the puppy. The fleece side of the cushion looks sturdy, but the "hairy" side loses its fur easily (just pinching the hairs makes them come off). I personally removed the drawstring that lets you tighten it into a bundle, to stop the puppy from chewing on the cord or getting tangled in it.

My 8kg dog really likes it, even though it’s not his favourite.
