Be sure to look at the photo more carefully than I did - the first problem with this product, for us, was that it doesn't fit onto the majority of our radiators (the hooks are is too deep). Even on the one radiator that it does hook over in our home, the metal structure means that when the cat lies in it she is at an angle, almost falling out onto the floor - she isn't comfortable so we have got rid of this bed and use a different one instead which she is able to curl up in and relax.

Bought this for our little (6 lb) cat who loves curling up near the radiator but her big (18 lb) brother immediately decided it was his. It fits on our new radiator perfectly and holds the big guy with no problem. The little one won't go near it, just happy it's getting used!

Rubbish doesn’t fit the radiator keeps falling off not impressed at all

I purchased the XL version of this as my cat is very large. It was well made and sturdy. HOWEVER, a word of warning. My cat has been using it for 6 weeks and we've had to discard it as his skin has gone dry and flaky. This is due to his skin being totally dried out by laying on the radiator. He is scratching, over grooming and twitching all over. We've had to get a spray from the vets to ease the itching. Wish I'd never purchased it

I had to convince my cat to use it as she ignored it for a few days, I've used a catnip and just put her on it. However then it became her favourite place for a nap - warm when heating is on and cosy. She loves it.

just got this today and super dissapointed :( 1. my cat isnt huge, an abyssinian female and she barely fits in this - for kittens its ok, but an average sized cat? no way. the photo makes it look much bigger - no i didnt check measurements as i thought i was buying what was in the photo. 2. its way too flimsy, over time i can see the metal bending with the weight of the cat 3. the fabric already has holes in where stitching is loose and where metal frame pokes through when erected

Yes, the radiator bed is too large to fit over the average radiator --BUT it fit perfectly over the banister like a balcony in the stairwell outside our bedroom. Yes, the original fleece fabric is thin; but I got a synthetic, luxurious sheepskin (meant as a small throw) from IKEA and draped it over the bed and banister, and it looks quite decorative -- the cat LOVES it, naps there much of the day, especially in winter. The white polyester sheepskin washes easily, and spares the original cover wear and tear.

I bought first radiator bed in 2006 and it survived until 2014 in one piece and my cat is huge, 7.5kg. When material stopped looking presentable I decided to buy the same cat bad. What a mistake. Thinner frame, thinner material. After 6 months it has huge holes and only thing I can do with it is to throw it away.

Probably one of the worst products I have ever bought. The frame is made of thin and flimsy metal and is only suitable for kittens or very lightweight cats. The quality of the cover is thin and it is badly made - it arrived with a hole in one side and a split seam on the other. The sleeping area is too small for medium to larger cats, unless the cat doesn't mind hanging its legs off the edges. But, worst of all, it would not fit our radiators. Yes, it is adjustable but the arms can only be screwed out to make the depth even wider. It would probably fit on old fashioned deep radiators but it will not fit on modern slimline radiators as the arms are much too long.

A fairly good quality item, with nice plush fleece. Not as big as expected. My 18 month old Savannah already seems too big for it. It could do with being a bit deeper. Wood buy again if bigger, my cat thinks it's a toy at the moment so it gets attacked before sleeping in it.

I bought this when my cat was about a year old. He didn't pay a lot of interest to it in the first place (I think he didn't like where I had put it) but when I moved it to the side of my loft bed he was in it all the time! He has had this bed for 6 years now, sometimes he will not use it for weeks, then he will be in it day and night. The zip broke after a few years lol because my cat is now a bit on the chubby size but the bed is still usable, just doesn't look as nice as when it was brand new (understandably). I now add a small hot water bottle in the liner and my cat couldn't be happier. My cat is currently fast asleep against the radiator in his bed in our new home. I have been recommending this cat bed to all my friends!

This is a great item. It is also adjustable unlike some other cat radiator beds on the market. Easy to mount, folds away nicely, machine washable material and great price. Thank you

fantastic item.after hours of searching found the best.fits over a double radiator no problem.easy to remove cover which is plush has a zipper and machine washable.strong/sturdy.i find all trixie products first class.many thanks.

My cat loves it, but I can only put it in my living room, where there is a windowsill overhanging the radiator, which holds the cat bed in place. Without the windowsill the bed would not stay up at all. It's designed ti fit a very deep radiator, which is not a standard in the UK. So, if you have standard radiators this cat bed won't work unless you take a metal saw and cut the metal frame to size... Also, I had this cat bed for a few months and have to get a new one as the fabric cover on the old one just fell apart. My cat still loves it, but if you are looking for quality and good design, this product is probably not for you.

I was a bit worried if my hyper bengal boy would like it as he totally ignored other cat beds or trees i bought him and insisted sharing my bed. In fact, the minute I put him in, he lay down and started to groom himself as if he'd been doing it for all his life! Finally there is a solution for us both to sleep well.
