Whiskas Kitten Pouches in Jelly

My wee cat loves this food especially the fish ones

Carried on with whiskas kitten as previous owner had been feeding it, but shes never keen on it and wastes a lot. She licks the jelly and leaves most of the “meat” but after reading the ingredients myself, i can see why. This is not food. Will be switching her to something good.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] When getting a new kitten, choosing the right food for them, that they love, is easy to store and easy to buy is key! We’ve been back and forwards with various brands but now that we’ve tried Whiskas, we won’t be going back! Both our girl and boy loves them, they’re affordable, and there’s so many flavours available, which is perfect to keep them from getting complacent, plus the cats love it so much they clean their bowl’s!

I’m left very confused because I bought some of the fish variety boxes and the mixed menu, but my 4 cats won’t touch any that come from the mixed menu boxes, including the fish flavours. I’ve had to chuck so much of it away so I won’t be buying the mixed variety boxes any more.

My kittens only like whiskers

My kitten only eats the meaty range, he loves it and can’t get enough. Which is great. But he also won’t go near many other goods. Fresh meat he turns his nose up to. And biscuits? How dare I even try it.

Very cheap and easy to buy in bulk! However, when it comes to the actual nutritional value of Whiskas, I suspect this has been giving my kitten chronic diarrhoea (in the process of food trials to confirm this) since a course of antibiotics hasn't improved the situation, but a change of diet to bland food did.

A box came opened only negative.

Barely any meat content, and my cats always has diarrhoea eating this. I only gave it as the kittens had been fed that by their original owner before they were adopted out. Quickly changed to a higher meat content good from zooplus (Animonda carny), and they haven't had diarrhoea since.

Rescue kitten came having been fed just whiskas but once we offered some other options she has just licked the jelly off this. Even our piggy others haven't seemed fussed about the chunks of "meat", although they will all eat the gravy. Junk food for cats? I don't mind them havint it for a change but I'd nor feed this all the time.
