Quality has gone downhill ? recipe change

I have been buying this for my cats for years now but the quality of the meat has significantly gone downhill. The Chicken Breast flavours including the one with liver is no longer the typical white meat of a chicken breast but looks as though some red meat ? the cheaper leg of chicken has been mixed with it. It is also now very stringy so I have to chop it up with a pair of scissors to make it more palatable. Please bring back the original high quality recipe Thrive?.

Thrive tuna

Good price and always quick delivery from Zooplus.

excellent top quality food

All my cats love this only one tin isn't enough for Maine coons and Norweigian forest cats who eat 6 tins a day each, The food looks good quality, there is still plenty of juice moisture in it, We always have empty bowls from every flavour

inconsistent quality

The quality of this food seems to vary from batch to batch (especially the chicken varieties). When it's good it's great so will persevere but seems a bit pot luck. Ocean fish is now a no no after being very palatable. Tuna variety has been consistently good.

Something has changed.

My cats love this food. I have been buying it for them for years now because up to now it really is no nonsense food. It is quite expensive so they might only have it once every one or two days but its just meat, I believe low calorie so good for the overweight boy who adores it. However the last batch that I bought (Chicken Breast and Chicken Breast and Chicken Liver) have not been such good quality. It has been refused by the cats. Has the recipe changed?

Quite nice but my cats preferred Greenwoods

I bought Thrive and Greenwoods and all 5 cats preferred Greenwoods Chicken flavour. They ate the Thrive but they left some each time whereas all of them ate the Greenwoods without hesitation.

mixed saver pack 283334.6 not mixed :(

The food is great and Radar loves it but I ordered the mixed saver pack so save some money and get some variety for him but all that came in the mixed saver pack was Chicken Breast and Tuna. 283334.6

Cat approves

My sphynx loves this. Tho i feed him mainly feringa i give these cans as treat every few days!

Cats Love It

Both my cata love the ocean fish flavour. I just wish Thrive would make it in bigger cans as I get through 4 a day! It works out quite costly!

Superb quality

The best quality cat food I can find. Excellent ingredients, perfect for an obligate carnivore.

My 4 cats refuse to eat it

I have 4 cats and not one of them will eat this food. I bought 24 packs of all the flavours and despite trying them several times, the cats just leave it sitting in the bowl attracting flies. I wish I hadn't bought it as I have wasted so much money...

loved by fussy cats

I have a 10 month old who only likes raw. I have been trying to find her a packet she will eat for emergencies eg if I forget to thaw the raw! This is the only one she will eat. I have another cat who has recently joined our family. She loves felix. I am trying to get her to eat better quality food. She has eaten other good quality wet but reluctantly. With thrive she wolfed it down. Infact I put the thrive out for the kitten and she came to investigate and decided to tuck in as well!

Chicken Breast Formula Changed

My picky Scottish Fold loved the Chicken Breast tins that came when we purchased this in early March 2018. I quickly placed another order which came yesterday and the formula has changed. The meat is extremely stringy now and it comes in a different tin (the lid is different). My poor cat has opted to skip two meals entirely rather than touch this food. I'm now left with 70 more tins of a food she won't touch. Be wary of ordering if your cat liked the old Chicken Breast formula.

MY FUSSY CAT LOVES THEM!

My BSH cat has always been a bit of a fussy eater, but absolutely loves the Thrive tins. They are full of real food and a big bonus is that it is a complete food and without any additives whatsoever. Very difficult to find a food like this, especially if you read all of the ingredients in other so called quality foods. My only gripe is the Tuna with Shrimp & Squid - the tin is only about half full of actual fish and the rest is made up of liquid. Unless, there was a manufacturing problem?

Fantastic complete food for cats

I have tried every cat food under the sun for my 5 month old kitten Leo and he never licked clean his bowl, maybe he's just a finicky eater but ever since I've switched him to thrive complete, chicken and liver being his favourite, he is in kitty food heaven. He eats every morsel I'm happy he is getting a complete high meat content meal, he has gained a healthy weight as he was a tad skinny and he has a shiny coat and bundles of energy which has put a strain on my back keeping him exercised.😬😬😬

Best cat food around

I feed both my cats on Thrive wet and dry food. By far the best cat food on the market and its complete. I used to feed my cats on another well known (and not cheap) brand, but 1 1/2 pouches later still did not fill her up. One tin of Thrive each meal and she's more than happy with a full tummy. It's not the cheapest but you definatley get what you pay for.

Thrivecomplete

Bought this as supermarket foods just weren't filling my 1yr dsh at all she totally loves this she can't get enough I have bought the biscuits as well but she's not a biscuit fan but she is trying them. Zooplus need to extend the range as there are 12 varieties and I am also buying from Thrive direct but it is £1 MORE expensive from them???? A mixed bulk saver pack would be idea

The best

I'm very conscious about what my BSH eats. I've searched hi and low for a healthy, grain free, carb free diet. She was on Applaws for breakfast which she absolutely loved but it irked me that it wasn't complete and was very expensive (had to add vitamins and vary her diet). Then I found this. Thrive looks like applaws but is complete! And cheaper too! I've also noticed the range of flavours has increased on Zooplus so I'm sure lots of ppl are realising how good this product is. My cat also has granatapet, catz fine food and feringa for dinner.

Perfect for pusscats

I feed Daff only the best stuff. Thrive is full of the best stuff! I know that if it's Thrive, it's going to be good for her

WOW!

So our Bengal is somewhat a fussy eater. Her previous owner unfortunately got her addicted to Whiskas which as most people know is pure rubbish. So I tried to find a replacement and after lots of research and some different testing, I found this. I had it in her bowl with some Whiskas and she went straight for this! She even left the Whiskas and began meowing for more :D

Excellent

My cats had become picky and recently stopped eating Applaws and Cosma. I decided to try Thrive and I can see a difference: their bowls are left clean, spotless. Very satisfied!

Favourite

Long live Catmoneo! Finally found the best food for my fluffy four-legged friend. He loves it, except for the ocean fish and liver flavours—everything else is a hit. Both the dry and wet food from this brand. The protein and other nutrients are really well balanced for my indoor cat. The only downside is that the price keeps changing, so you can't really get a subscription.

Very good pet food

Very good food, the cats love it. It's great that it's complete, unlike most Cosma products.

Unfortunately not 100%

Both my kittens really love this food and eat it all up. It's also nice and juicy. Unfortunately, I find the taurine content much too low to feed it on its own. But otherwise, TOP.

Really like it and it's not too high in protein

My cat, 16 years old, with a sensitive stomach since forever and some allergies to fish-based wet food, really loves this chicken variety from Thrive. It has a moderate protein content (good for kidney protection), comes in shredded pieces (his favourite), but is still a complete food, which is quite rare. I use it on its own or mixed with gastro wet food to make it more appetising. The only downside is the price 😊

Super!

I've been buying this food for my two cats for a while now. They especially love the fish varieties! But this food has become really expensive at zooplus. It's almost €8 more expensive than before. Luckily, there are still some sellers who offer it at a reasonable price.

Very picky kitty approves

I have a very picky cat who has only ever approved one type of wet food in her life (and we've tried many). Tried this in different flavours, and now she loves it even more than the old one! She likes several of the flavours. Perfect since this is a healthy, complete food! Highly recommended 😊

Contains a lot of iodine 😥

My cats like it a lot, but unfortunately I noticed too late that the food has a very high iodine content. The information on the cans refers to 100g, while other manufacturers state it per 1kg. That’s really bad for the thyroid.
