The composition of the food is really great. For our senior, we pay more attention to grain- and sugar-free food. Due to the lack of sauce, the bowl isn’t always emptied, but he eats it without complaining. Really great for the price.

I ordered this for the stray cats I regularly feed so I wanted something reasonably cheap but better quality than the high street brands. The reviews for this range looked very promising so I got the Chicken + Lamb and it was even better than expected! The texture is good, you can see individual pieces of meat, and it smells wholesome. Our own cats tried it too and preferred it over a more expensive brand so this is definitely going to be a regular in my orders from now on!

Poultry pots with hearts are still on the menu for my Persians after years. They tolerate it well and really like it. However, I alternate between many grain-free wet food varieties to keep things from getting boring. Only the fish varieties are absolutely dreadful for both humans and animals.

Unfortunately, my cats are very picky and didn’t eat it—well, one of them did. However, I gave it to a friend, and her cats absolutely love it. So still a good review! After all, Zooplus or the brand itself can’t be blamed if my cats are too spoiled. Still, a top product with great value for money.

After testing the trial package, it was clear: our cats don’t like all varieties of Geflügeltöpfchen, but they happily eat “Geflügelherzen.” The food is better labelled than TV-famous brands, with at least 40% of the content being poultry. Plus, it contains no grains and is well tolerated and digested. I stir the layer of fat at the bottom of the tin into a broth with a bit of hot water, which I then add to the bowl – our cats really enjoy that. Even though we usually feed them higher-quality food, Smilla is a solid part of our feeding routine and is easy on the budget! A clear recommendation.

The variety with poultry hearts is gladly accepted by all three here. Even my otherwise so picky girl dives right in and empties the bowl in no time. Will definitely be ordered again.

My two 12-week-old fur babies really enjoy Smilla, and they generally tolerate it very well. Unfortunately, my little tomcat reacted to the "Poultry Pot with Poultry Hearts" variety by vomiting, but the other flavours are well tolerated.

Both of my 12 week old cats like Smilla a lot, and they're digesting it mostly fine. The little boy did throw up a little bit of the Poultry Pot with Poultry Hearts, but the others have all been great.

My Shady always used to love Animonda Carny. I tried Smilla for the first time, and the cat loves it. She's picky and doesn't eat just any food. Smilla smells really good, even tastier than Carny, but otherwise looks the same. No sugar, grains, etc., which I think is great. If it stays this way, this will be a new brand of food I'll buy.

My cat Shady has always loved Animonda Carny I tried her for the first time with Smilla and she loves it. She's quite fussy and doesn't eat every food you give her. Smilla smells good, actually better than the Animonda Carny stuff, and looks good too. No sugar or grains is also a plus for us. If she keeps being this happy with it, I'll definitely keep buying this in the future.

My cats are very picky and always hungry... :) But this cat food is great, smells good, and the little ones love it. My cats haven’t gained weight like they did with some other food brands. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Unfortunately, unfortunately, it’s not being accepted. My two tomcats are usually not picky at all when it comes to food. This is honestly the first time my cats have refused to eat something. Such a shame, because they absolutely loooooove the dry food from Smilla. Even the greedy cat of a friend, to whom I gave the rest, didn’t touch it—and she had always eaten everything up until now...

My two love it – the composition is really great for this price – no grains etc., for sure. There is food with more meat and so on, but still 5 stars because the price-performance ratio is so good. It’s very well tolerated, and they get full faster compared to the cheap stuff where you have to search for the meat. Definitely recommended! I also read through the comments here beforehand, although opinions always vary – every cat likes something different. It’s best to buy a few varieties in small quantities and test them! :)

My tom cat loved the poultry pots and preferred them over the fish pots. I think he got too used to eating the tunafish as part of fish pots and never always finished it. Didn't get bored of these through!
