Odd
My cats will not eat this! I don’t give in easily and kept trying but they would rather starve apparently (I did not let my cats starve) .
Gave it to a friend and hers won’t eat it either. I’m not sure why.
Hope the cat rescue centre can use it.
Gave the kittens diarrhea
Bought this kitten food as other reviewers said didn't cause an upset stomach however it caused diarrhea in all kittens and the mother cat. Going to ask about a return. I do not recommend. I will be going back to Wainwrights kitten food.
Not the best..
My kitten who is not fussy at all about his food, is not a fan of this brand..
Very happy active kittens
We have 2 rescue kittens (brother & sister) - 1 was very small, quiet & inactive when they first arrived - we were advised to continue feeding they same supermarket food they had been used to but we were getting concerned - changed gradually to Smilla & Animonda over a week & since then we've seen a huge difference - poo's are MUCH better & she is a much happier, heavier & more active little girl :) They both LOVE this food & not a scrap is wasted - can't recommend highly enough
Baby boy loves it
My 4 month old Maine Coon / Bengal kitten loves this food. He enjoys both flavors and eats it quickly. I will be buying more soon
Easy to wean on to
I foster kittens and usually have to wean them onto solids a lot earlier than they would naturally. Having read the reviews I thought I'd try my last 3 on this. It was brilliant, they loved it - it's a pate/small mince so I didn't have to mash it much and has a good meaty small which they found enticing. Big bonus was no upset tummies when I used Smilla, all the others that have had other brands with lots of gravy and jelly I've had to deal with runny poo :(
Great food
My 2 Siamese kittens, now aged 4 months and 3 months love this food. Although I am a veggie, I started them on the rather grim ( for me )raw food diet. They loved it but Valentine ( older kit) had regular reflux, while Lenoard had no probs and crunched his way merrily through minced bone and sinew.Exploring other options I was dismayed at the cost of the more decent pouches and tinned food. Smilla is a really good option both in content and price. Now they are off the raw diet I can give the both wet and dry food, and have just taken delivery of the Smilla saver pack to try this brand of kibble; I have sufficient confidence in the quality to move them from the top of the market popular dried food they have had so far. They are complete gannets and will eat anything, and loved both veal and chicken trial packs. but have for now ordered follow up quantity of the chicken wet food...veal just seems that step too far for my veggie conscience.
Baby bengals
My 4 bengal kittens love this food, their mum trys to steal it from me as I get it out of the tin as she is mad about it too.

good quality and value for money
When I decided to get a kitten I wanted to make sure he gad a quality diet without breaking the bank, being veggie I didn't want to go down the raw route as it grossed me out a lot! Smila is perfect quality food without the crap most companies use to bulk out the lack of meat to make it appear edible, it works out at around the same price as a popular wet food brand too so it's really not that expensive, especially compared to more popular high meat content cat foods!
Smilla Kitten
It seems they don't love this one, there's always leftovers when I feed them it. With other foods that doesn't happen. Maybe the kittens are already too spoiled! I'll have to go back to the other food I was giving them :(

not eaten
My little one refused to eat this one, I think he prefers to have sauce and jelly in his food. I'll have to go back to feeding him that stuff instead.

Very good food and grain free
This food is aways eaten up very quickly by our cat and she digests it very well. The smell is quite pleasant, and it's grain-free. The price is also unbeatable.

Good food at a great price
I was convinced to buy this by the fact that it was grain free and sugar free. And our cats love eating it!

Great for my two little boys
Our little boys are already older kittens, so it's a shame we didn't find this food earlier while they were still tiny! You can almost see our two growing healthier and bigger every time they eat this stuff. We wanted to give them wet food from the very beginning, but Smilla Kitten is the only one we've ever had total success with. Max and Frederik are very happy customers!

Delicious and not that expensive!
Our two little kittens go mad for this food. They've also got lovely coats since we started feeding them this. The price is great and the quality is brilliant.

Good and cheap
I ordered the mixed pack first to try it out. My little one eats it quite happily but I don't think it's his favourite. 4 stars from us!

Smilla Kitten 6 x 200g
My 6 month Ragdoll kitten loves this, i got the veal one, apart from Applaws, this is the only one i've tried (and i've tried loads) that he finishes and licks the bowl clean, every time.
