Many cats seem to enjoy this food, with some owners noting improvements in their pets' overall well-being. However, not all cats are fans, as some refuse to eat it, leading to wasted purchases. Despite this, others have found success by combining it with dry food or using it for specific dietary needs. Overall, while it doesn't suit every cat's palate, it has been beneficial for many.

Hangover breakfast
At first, the tomcat (around 15+ years old, farmyard mix) ate the food with restrained enthusiasm, but now he actually seems to like it. Health-wise, it has really helped him improve; he’s noticeably fitter. Even the hedgehog, who occasionally strolls into the kitchen as if it’s the most natural thing in the world and eats the food right in front of the bewildered tomcat, enjoys it.

The only thing he's allowed to do
After our little tomcat developed pancreatitis in 2019 and had to spend a week at the Ismaning veterinary clinic (thanks to everyone there), they managed to save him from the lethal injection. After our vet and her specialist (a heartfelt thanks to both of these ladies as well) recommended this food and only this food, along with daily saline infusions administered by my wife, he is still alive today. Although he occasionally needs painkillers, he is otherwise doing well.

Pancreatitis & IBD
Saved my cats life. Gradually had to introduce this food as he wasn’t keen at first. Now this is the only wet food he eats. Given him 12 months longer life than I ever dreamed possible and hopefully many more to come.

Saved a life
My 14 yr old cat has pancreatitis and an intolerance to cat food. It took a while to encourage him to eat this but it has definitely saved his life and my sanity!

Don't like her.
Such a shame. My cat has digestive issues, and I wanted to give her this food. Unfortunately, she doesn’t like it.

Isn't eaten
My cat doesn’t like the food at all. I dish it out – and end up throwing it away. Unfortunately, I bought 2 packs straight away, so 24 pouches. Oh well. Luckily, she eats the corresponding dry food, but just dry food isn’t exactly ideal either.

👍🏻
My cat was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis – luckily, he eats this food, and he's already noticeably better.

For my cat with pancreatitis
I feed this food to my 15-year-old tomcat in combination with the corresponding dry food (though not at the same time), as unfortunately catastrophic pancreas levels were detected in December. He eats it willingly, though he’s not a picky eater, and since then he hasn’t had explosive vomiting or seemed to have as much stomach pain. I should mention, however, that he’s also receiving pancreatic enzymes, which mix well with this food. His pancreas levels have shown slight improvement.

Very well tolerated
My tomcat had severe stomach problems (constant vomiting). This food has helped him a lot, he tolerates it well. And most importantly, he took to it nicely. He only accepts the wet food, though, when combined with the matching dry food.

Very relieved
Due to recurring diarrhoea and vomiting, we took our very thin 21-year-old cat to the vet. After a thorough examination and diagnostics, we were given this food. I was sceptical because I had already tried several types. He now really enjoys eating this food and is looking noticeably better again. The other cat has its own food, which the old cat no longer touches. Conclusion: I’m genuinely happy with this food!

Unfortunately, had to gradually dispose of it.
Although my (extremely picky and chronically ill) cat generally accepts many varieties of Royal Canin, she didn’t even touch this one (tried on several days at different times – unsuccessfully). It’s a shame that such expensive food can’t be purchased as a trial (1 pouch).

In case of problems - excellent
My tomcat had giardia, which we've now gotten rid of, but he's always had a sensitive stomach, and I've occasionally had to rely on dry food. While his gut flora is being restored, I was reluctant to feed him only dry food – I didn't think he'd eat the wet food, but lo and behold, he likes it, and it's already showing effects after just a few days. I'm going to do a course with this food and then switch back to 'higher-quality' wet food. Perfectly suited for this purpose!

Cat just turns up its nose
When I put the food down for my cat, she just sniffed it and disappeared with her tail held high. My cat absolutely does not like the food.

Excellent!
My feline daughter was diagnosed with pancreatitis in February and I was told she would benefit from switching to this food. Like the other reviews, this food has really helped her to recover, she really enjoys it and (touch wood) she's been absolutely fine since. This site is definitely less expensive than everywhere else I looked online so we are very happy customers!

fabulous food
My really picky 13 year old cat was diagnosed with Pancreatitis last year. He had a really tough time getting well and lost more than a kilo. This food is a god send and has been keeping his flare ups to a minimum - amazing food would highly recommend.

Best Food
My 9 month old cat was throwing up daily for months on end, until we found out he had pancreatitis. It was gunking up his intestinal tract, which required surgery. He was put on lots of meds and given this food, and he stopped all vomiting. Big thank you to the vet and to Royal Canin. Highly reommended

Best food
My 9-month-old tomcat was vomiting almost daily for months until we discovered that he had a severe pancreatitis. It had already caused his intestines to become clogged, which had to be surgically "cleaned out." He was given lots of medication and this food, and lo and behold—no more vomiting since then, thanks to the vet and Royal Canin. I can truly recommend it!
