Our cat’s favourite
Our cat was diagnosed with early stage kidney disease a couple of months ago and we’ve tried a few different brands of renal food. This is definitely his favourite. I do have to mash it up so he doesn’t just eat the jelly, but this really works and he cleans his bowl. He likes the beef flavour too.

17 year old fussy cay with mild kidney problems
My male cat was hungry constantly and we had blood tests to confirm he was boarder line with his kidneys. The vet suggested trying a food for this so we opted for this one which is reasonably priced . He loves it ! Actually walks away satisfied now rather than looking for more . He’s going to have 2 per day with a whiskers for lunch !

Liked the gravy
My renal cat loved the gravy, but wouldn't touch the chunks. Neither would any of my other cats

Cat liked it (beef), but sadly it disagreed with him (not the first brand/food to do that). Very thick gravy, which meant you could add a bit of water to it. Returned the rest for a refund.

Kidney failure
Pinky has no teeth and kidney failure and this is the only food that she will eat unfortunately is quite often at a stock must be very popular
Fussy about the flavour.
Hi my cat who has CKD will eat the Chicken flavour but not so much the Beef flavour.

My cat loves this food but the turkey hasn't been in stock for literally months, and the beef is very hit and miss in terms of availability.

My little blind girl only likes these really
I can make her eat other renal food when this runs out, but only because she's hungry. She loves this Kattovit Renal wet food, really unhappy that it constantly runs out and she has been without it for some time now

Not as good as I thought
I have been buying these pouches regularly since 2019 as my cats seemed to like them more. However, one of my cats is allergic to the ingredients. He has been having itchy skin and causing lesions due to extensive licking. Won’t purchase again.

Cats don’t like it
Renal food is bland for a purpose, but I can’t get my renal cats to eat anything and defo not this one. They look at it like it’s evil. The smell definitely is evil…really strong and unpleasant…in fact don’t think I’ve smelt a cat food so icky. It’s medium size chunks in a gravy. Chunks are a no no with my lot anyway, they prefer flakes. The crusade goes on.

Blind Gracie loves these
My little Greek Rescue blind Gracie has early stage kidney failure and didnt like the Hills given by the vet, I tried a few others but this she really loves! shame its sold out so often

Nice food.
I have 18 year old boy with chronic kidneys disease. He is a fussy eater. He just loves this food, not sure why, may be it is tasty, or whatever his reasons are. Due to his age and condition it is not easy to find a good grade renal food, so I am happy as long as he is eating. My cat just loves it.

Quality Differences
There are different qualities. Sometimes it's quite greasy with a thick sauce, then other times it's darker meat with a lot of thin sauce. And that's all with the same flavour. That's annoying, because the cats are getting fussier and fussier.

What's wrong with the food? Way too much gravy and my cat suddenly doesn't like it anymore
I bought the 24-pack and, unlike the chicken pouches in the mixed pack or from the shop, this food is practically swimming in sauce and my cat doesn't like it. When I buy the same variety in the shop, the meat-to-sauce ratio is fine and my cat eats it happily... If they've changed the recipe, that's not good! Tastes different from other brands

Very inconsistent portions of food
My cat mainly eats this food. Unfortunately, with every few deliveries, he refuses to touch it. Sprinkling treats on top, or even mixing in a bit of sausage, doesn’t help (I’ll add that sausage is a last resort, only used for giving medicine). At first, my 15-year-old Sally liked these pouches more than any other Renal ones, but after about three weeks she started getting diarrhoea from them, which kept getting worse. More like a “worsened” formula
My tomcat really loved this food and was super happy – now he’s disappointed every time he smells the new recipe in his bowl and refuses to eat it.
