I have been buying this for a couple of years and my cat liked it. It used to be a solid pate but the most recent batch is different - much more sloppy and wet and, I believe, gave my cat an upset stomach. I won't be buying this again unless Hills confirm they have gone back to the old formulation.

my cat enjoyed the food in the pouches so I decided to buy what i thought would be the equivalent in tins, as they are more environmentally friendly. Really disappointed to find the contents are totally different and my cat refuses to eat it.

Hill Prescription diet Feline c/d Multicare - Chicken in pouches is chunky chicken in gravy and the tins just look like regular old cat food paste. Even the ingredients look different. My cat loves the pouches but hates the stuff in the tins. Hills should not give different ingredients the same name. Most irritating after buying a few months supply of the wrong stuff.

Just amazing! We fed this to our poorly kitten gradually over 4 weeks, and had to give him small regular meals placed in his mouth because he couldn't eat or drink by himself! After five days he finally went to the toilet and we were so happy! He survived with a lot of care and this food was definitely crucial. Thank you Hills!

This food is happily accepted by our cat and you can also easily add a little more water to help the consistency if your cat prefers softer food. Moreover, the ingredients are optimal for cats with struvite stones and compares well to other more expensive special diets.

The cans are great. My cat only eats one can per 5 days, and by the 5th day of being kept in the fridge it does get a little dry.

Indispensable for my cat, who has urinary problems, and with this food (and medication) his suffering is over!

I am very satisfied with this product for our cat, and she also loves it too! Besides this food she also gets some dry food from Hills.

All my cats eat it willingly because it's paté, and it's great for sensitive cats or repeat sufferers of struvite. But unfortunately Hill's have been found to support some dodgy animal practices, so the products are not cruelty free!

My cat has had serious problems with nephrolithiasis. At the beginning he would only eat the Hills dry food, but now I decided to diversify his diet and chose these cans. I must admit he eats them very happily, and his condition seems to be fine.

My 5-year-old cat is used to Hill's Urinary food (kibble, pouches). He has also eaten the carrot and rice tin from the same range. But he absolutely refuses to eat this one. The texture is compact and dry. It doesn't smell appetising at all. I tried this product to make sure he stayed hydrated during the hot weather. I really don't recommend it.

We’ve been giving our cat these tins for ages, and she’s always loved them. But in the last two orders, the texture of the food was different and she’s stopped eating it. We bought some from other shops to compare, and the ones from elsewhere have the usual texture. We got in touch with Hills and they said the recipe hasn’t changed, so we think it’s a storage issue with zooplus.

My cat, who has serious urinary problems, would only eat this wet food. They changed the recipe—before it was soft, now it’s dry and compact. My cat won’t eat it anymore. Very disappointed, I wrote to HILLS.

I’ve ordered this product twice and both times I’ve received some dented canned food. The first time I thought it might just be a coincidence, but it happened again.

This used to be good food, but now the quality has gone down.
