Paying for water
This product is not a meal for any cat. It has around a teaspoon of solids the rest is liquid, just liquid almost like a very runny gravy. Not worth the money, that’s for sure.

Looks great, still refused
First two or so meals went down really well. It looks really promising, smells ok, but after a few tins both of my cats were only picking at it. Seems like a lot of rice too.

If my cats are happy I'm happy
Some people are saying this food is not complete food and that for the price they could buy other complete cat foods. I have 6 cats and i haven't found anything they enjoy as much as this food. I always have a few different flavours of complete food dry biscuits out for them too. I enjoy what I'm eating, so it's only fair they enjoy what they're eating too. As a Cat owner i think it's my duty to make them as happy as i can and they're all very happy with the Applaws range of food. Thank you :-)

Wish I had bought this sooner!
Was recommended this cat food from a friend, glad I bought it. Cat loves it and is finally showing interest in his food again. He loves dinner time and meows as soon as I open a tin. Is complementary so he also gets full nutritional biscuits.

They actually eat it
I have five cats and they do enjoy this. One of them, in particular, is very keen on the flavour that contains mackerel. The main thing is that they eat it and don't just walk off, which they can do!

Didn’t like it
These chicken shreds look like dried out card and sadly Toby didn’t like them. Difficult to find a good product and it all ends up in the rubbish.

Great quality cat foood
On the pricy side, but it's made of real meat. My cat loves the stuff (and she's a picky eater)

Approved by the two fussiest cats
You could describe our boys as the fussiest of fine diners, we have been through just about every brand available to determine what they'll eat and what they won't. They will not eat any wet food that's available in the supermarket except Encore and the only other brands we have success with are Applaws, Seriously Good Bistro (from Pets at Home), Cosma and limited success with Thrive. Applaws consistently produces the most empty bowls, they have with a mix of quality kibble. Highly recommended.

Excellent choice
My two boys are very fussy or get bored very easily however with this brand they absolutely love it. Very good selection which we alternate to give them variety, both love every single flavour even the chicken and pumpkin. plates are licked clean every single time and they look forward to breakfast and dinner time. They have dry food too and we do give them blink and untamed occasionally purely due to them being complete and will often mix it with applaws. Highly recommend

Not complete
Considering the cost, it’s not complete so doesn’t have everything a cat needs, which you get from cheaper brands. Didn’t realise this when purchasing as you’d think to be classed as cat food it would be nutritious enough. Cats turned their nose up at it which isn’t surprising as full of rice

Good quality
Tried my cat on applaws slowly as wanted something higher in meat than what she was on. She likes most flavours, but doesn't like the mackerel or chicken + pumpkin. I Just wish you could buy certain flavours in bulk as certain flavours are definitely her favourite. On the whole it seems good quality and if you buy in bulk it is reasonably priced. I also give her applaws dry as the wet is complementary not complete.

Feel good food
After years of accepting that throwing up after meals was part of cat life, we tried this food and -hey presto- it stays down! You can see with your eyes what the ingredients are- actual chunks of meat/fish with rice- so it feels good giving it. Our Gucci licks the bowl clean and has gone from regurgitating a couple times a week to maybe once a month (she is a bit of a gobbler). Just note this isn't a "complete" food and should be fed alongside something with all the nutrients added, like dry.

Complementary food Applaws Can
I fed this along with a complete food. My cat began to have anal gland problems and pulled out most of her fur from allergy to the food. I didn’t realise til my sons cat suffered similar symptoms on the same food.
Took 12 weeks for her to fully recover. Please note it’s a complementary food it doesn’t have the nutrients as a complete

Outstanding food!
All three of my cats adore this food, all varieties. You can see the quality of it when you open the can, chunks of fish, chicken etc. It's expensive in comparison to alternatives but worth every penny.

Not a grain free product
Hi, I ordered this item because it appeared as a grain free options.
However, it has rice in it and is not suitable.

Applaws jelly mix
One of my cats needs liquid meds, being primarily on dry food I bought these to try (to hide the meds in), both my cats love these little tins of goodness. Have tried most if the varieties and there is not one they don’t wolf day very happily. Happy cats, happy me !

Great food for a sensitive tummy
My cat recently had an infection and the vet said to put her on a bland diet for a week or so. We kept her on a few biscuits (Purina Sensitive) but mainly gave her the Applaws chicken tins. She absolutely loves this, but it's filling enough that she only needs half a small tin at a time. Unfortunately my other 2 cats also love it so they've had to have some too 😁 If it wasn't for the cost I'd keep her on this forever..
