The type of food doesn't smell good.
Animonda vom Feinsten with chicken, salmon, and spinach – my two cats won’t touch it at all.
Before feeding, I always do a sniff test and can usually tell with quite a bit of certainty whether the food will be accepted or not.
This particular variety smells unpleasant and was therefore rejected.
