The ring has long been a favourite playground for my budgies. But if I had known how dangerous it could be, I certainly wouldn't have bought it. One of my budgies got so tangled up in the wool threads while playing that it suffocated before I could free it. It's more than understandable that pet toys aren't tested to the same extent as those for children. However, this toy definitely does not belong in a budgie cage (at most with trimmed threads).

The ring has been hanging from the ceiling in the free-flight room for almost over a year now. During this time, I've only seen a budgie on it 2-3 times.

I bought this cotton ring and was extremely impressed by the quality of it (especially for 3.99)! And its huge, sure my African grey will love it!

The ring is absolutely brilliant, and five cockatiels are squabbling over who gets to sit where. I'm definitely going to order more so that the little rascals have even more seating options.

I bought this for my budgie without checking the diameter. I was shocked when it came and laughed because there is no way that it will go in the cage! But if you are buying it for a parrot, then it is great. It is well made and a bargain for £3.99. That's why I thought it was for a budgie because the one in my local pet shop was tiny and cost £5. I will use it to hang up from the ceiling. I am sure my budgie will fly to it? I wish the advert would have said Parrot ring but then it is my fault for not checking the measurement.

My budgies and cockatiels nibble on it, argue over who gets to sit there, and during quarrelsome times, the knot serves as a cuddly object. In short: they love this ring!

My three budgies, Sissi, Ludwig, and Franzi, have had the ring hanging in their bird room since yesterday, and they are absolutely thrilled. They nibble on it, swing on it, climb on it, and eat from it. I would definitely buy it again. Best regards, Julia and the feathered gang

The birds enjoy themselves all day with the ring, perfect for swinging and climbing.

My fancy mice absolutely love this ring. I did have to remove the metal holder (due to the risk of injury) and replace it with a hemp cord, but my mice climb all over the ring, inside and out, and shred the rope to gather nesting material – they’re having a whale of a time!

So, I bought this ring for my ring-necked parakeets. And I’m in the large parakeet section here, right?! :-) My ring-necked parakeets are absolutely crazy about it, and my budgies are also thrilled with the ring. And I don’t think they find it too big at all... ;-)

I hung it on the big bird tree for my Tweety, and he loves sleeping, dozing, and much more in it. Perfect for his feet because of the way it wraps around.

My two budgies have loved this ring from the very beginning! And if the cage is appropriately sized, it fits in without any trouble.

At first, I was a bit concerned about the size of the ring. But my two budgies love playing around with it. Thanks to the cotton rope, they can grip onto it firmly and climb all over it. I hung another toy in the middle, and now they swing on it too, adding a bit of colour to the mix. However, a slightly smaller version of the ring and/or one with coloured rope would also be quite appealing. The suspension is practical, but not ideal for budgies, as the little ones could get caught in it. Wrapping it with a bit of sisal rope solves this issue though. ;-)

Our little Paul loves this swing. We’ve attached it to the veranda ceiling. It took him a little while to notice it, but now he’s climbing back and forth on it like crazy!

The ring does provide the parakeets with a good activity, but the ring is neither brightly coloured (1 point deducted because birds prefer vibrant colours) nor does it contain a bell or anything else to keep the parakeets entertained (another point deducted).

Really great piece with a high fun factor. Anyone complaining about the size should open their eyes before buying, as it's clearly stated!

My two cockatiels immediately rushed to the swing and performed the most acrobatic exercises together. The fun factor is absolutely huge. I can only recommend the swing for cockatiels.

Although originally intended for birds of a completely different size, the ring is very popular with my canaries. They can land on/in the ring very well straight from free flight and love to play around on it.

Well, my two budgies absolutely love the ring. At first, I thought it might be too big, but during free flight, it turns out to be an amazing landing, climbing, and play area. I think it's really great, and so do they!
