According to the picture and description of the perch with rope, the birds are supposed to be able to climb on it. That's not possible at all, as there's only a knot at each end.

The product does not match the picture. The protruding ropes (play ropes) on the right and left have a maximum length of only 2 cm each. This is not mentioned in the description. In the picture, they are clearly much longer. The rod is made of natural wood, but the outer four blocks are very loosely attached. Very disappointing!

This fell apart within a week and ended up on the floor of my budgies cage - very poor quality

I really liked the idea of combining a perch with play ropes, as my two budgies are really playful. Unfortunately, the screw that was supposed to attach the perch to the cage didn’t stay in the perch and just fell out straight away. I tried to glue it in place, but unfortunately that didn’t work either.

So far, my degus love them. I'm a little concerned about the way they go down when my degus jump on them, but it seems to stay securely fastened even when they use it like a springboard. Also, degus are heavier than the birds this is marketed to, so I won't knock a star off for that. If you own smaller rodents like mice or gerbils, I would highly recommend these. Just be careful with heavier rodents like rats and make sure there's a hammock to catch them underneath if it's high up in the cage.

My budgie loves it, he’s not usually one to play that long with toys but he’s at this for hours. He gets really excited to pull the strings and rips off the bark from the perch. I gave it 4* because it’s quite heavy so it tends to lean a bit and I feel as though it could eventually break from the metal part with too many birds on it.

I bought 2 of these for my 7 week old rats, and at first I thought they were good. However, when I tried to screw it onto the cage, the whole metal bit fell off of the stick! Considering the price I guess you could expect that though.

It's a beautiful addition for both my parakeet cage and canary cage. It's give the birds. A feel of natural environment. As well as being high quality. Would highly recommend.

Amazing value for money, I’m sure my birds will have hours of fun with this

For years, our budgies have been regularly using and stripping their natural perches with play ropes. We always have one in use and one in reserve (cleaning time). However, two have already been completely dismantled. To prevent accidents, the play ropes are untangled as needed.

I attached the perch in the degu cage in such a way that my degus can both gnaw on it and use it as a climbing aid to reach their seagrass mat! Every now and then, one even sits on it ;) Perfect for keeping them occupied and for wearing down their gnawing teeth!

When attaching it, the screw immediately stripped, so the rod doesn’t sit firmly anymore. My budgies can now use it more like a seesaw. Otherwise, it’s a great idea and a good price!

This perch is amazing! The strings attached keep your birds entertained and the perch itself is of extraordinary quality! I struggle to fault this product its perfect!👏🏽

My birds absolutely love these things! My cockatiel enjoyed ripping the bark off of his and my budgies absolutely love chewing and preening the rope ends on theirs! They're happy so I'm happy :^)
