Unfortunately disappointing

I have always used wood shavings so far and was looking for a lighter alternative. The reviews regarding odour absorption convinced me to buy it. Unfortunately, I can't confirm that at all. I think it smells very strong very quickly. It can't even come close to competing with the wood shavings. So, back to lugging it around. What a shame...

Super odour absorption

We mix it with our cat litter (plant-based litter) and are very impressed and convinced by the litter. It clumps well and absorbs all odours. And most importantly, it doesn’t turn into sludge like some other cellulose-based litters.

Highly recommended

The best litter we've ever found. Super absorbent and very economical.

Very good bedding

I am very satisfied because it doesn’t create dust and the rabbit doesn’t spread it all over the floor like wood shavings, for example. It’s also very absorbent. Definitely recommend buying it.

Great litter

I think this litter is brilliant: It doesn’t stick to the paws or get spread all over the flat, it produces very little dust, it’s environmentally friendly (recycled paper), and it’s highly absorbent. Simply top-notch!

Absolutely recommendable!

I was surprised and fascinated that there really is a bedding that binds odours so well! Even in summer, you can stand right in front of the cage with your eyes closed and not have the slightest clue that you're standing directly in front of a rat cage! The same reaction came from every one of our friends!

Incredibly long-lasting

I’m really impressed with this bedding. At first, I was put off by the price, but it truly does an amazing job of controlling odours, and I haven’t had to clean out the rabbits’ enclosure for 5 days now. The price quickly pays off when you only need a fraction of this bedding compared to any other product I’ve tried so far.

New packaging, less content, poorer quality

Since the packaging was changed from paper to plastic (which I really don’t understand from an environmental perspective), there’s less product for the same price, and the quality has dropped significantly. It’s incredibly dusty, and the rabbits don’t really want to use it. I’ve now switched to another brand. It costs a little bit more, but the quality is what I’m used to.

Superb bedding

I use it for my four budgies, and since then, the cage has been cleaner and doesn’t get so dusty. For pecking on the ground, I also place a ceramic bowl with bird grit and grit mixed with a few seeds so they can peck in the sand and as a digestion aid. I can only recommend it!

New design, poorer quality

We’ve always been extremely satisfied with the bedding and use it for our guinea pigs. Since they live in the home office with us, it was especially important to us that the bedding doesn’t produce dust and lasts a long time. Until now, it was highly recommendable. However, since the packaging was changed – same price, less content – the quality has also left much to be desired. It still lasts just as long, but it produces a lot of dust now. Additionally, the packaging is now more plastic and no longer paper. Such a shame.

Great for rats

I had tried various other types of litter for the toilets. Nothing worked. This is the first one where (almost) nothing ends up outside. And I didn’t even have to teach them how to use it!

The product quality has deteriorated.

Since a change in production, the quality has unfortunately deteriorated significantly. On the one hand, it produces about twice as much dust as before. On the other hand, the pellets now have a strong chemical-like smell, which is noticeably unpleasant even for humans (who have a much weaker sense of smell than rodents). Additionally, the bag in which the bedding is packaged has been switched from paper to plastic film.

Highly recommended!

I use this bedding for my blue-fronted Amazon parrot and my African white-bellied hedgehog, and I’m very satisfied.

Great for sensitive rabbits

This is a fantastic product for sensitive rabbit feet. My rabbit suffers from pododermatitis, which causes its feet to become inflamed repeatedly. This bedding is the only one that helps us prevent the inflammation for the most part.

Perfect for rats

Doesn't create dust, vacuums well, is soft, and binds odours very effectively.

Perfect for my allergic rats

I've tried a lot of products, but either my rats couldn't tolerate them and sneezed their way through the entire cage, or they didn't absorb the pee. Then I tested this one, and I'm thrilled. Great absorption, heavy enough not to fly around the cage straight away, but soft enough that the little noses even snuggle into it to sleep. :)

Top!

We now only use it for our guinea pigs. It lasts about two weeks, doesn’t create dust, doesn’t smell, and is easy to handle. We’re satisfied and can’t imagine using anything else. Simply a top product and highly recommended.

1A for allergic pets

Until recently, we always used Hugro hemp bedding for our dwarf hamster and three gerbils. However, all four animals often sneezed because of the dust, and the hamster even started to lose a bit of fur from all the cleaning and scratching. Now, we've been using cellulose bedding for a few days, and none of them are sneezing anymore. Their fur also feels much softer and fluffier. I'm happy to pay the price for that!

Quality's okay, but not suitable for my guinea pigs.

The Cellu-Pellets seem to be of good quality and didn’t smell at all. Unfortunately, my guinea pigs eat the pellets, which definitely isn’t good. Also, it’s very loose, so when the animals run around, it creates trenches and mounds, and you don’t get a flat surface like you do with wood shavings, which stick together a bit. So, for the price, I can’t recommend it—it’s not very economical either. Since they’re grey, it doesn’t look nice either.

Very good for sensitive and allergic pets!

This highly absorbent bedding is perfect for our allergic bunny lady, as she hardly shows any reactions to it. The large pack is quite lightweight, you don’t need as much for the litter trays compared to conventional bedding, and the smell is almost neutral. One point deducted due to the odour control not being above average! Otherwise, highly recommended!!!!
