Our Chihuahua lady is extremely picky.
After one or two trial bites, our Chihuahua devoured the contents of the pouch and was happy! As recommended by the manufacturer, we tried to switch from her previous food to Royal Canin within two weeks. However, it didn’t work 100%—we had to keep offering other types of food for variety; otherwise, the wonderful Royal Canin mousse would sit in the bowl drying out for days.
All in all, very good, almost luxury food!

Royal Canin Chihuahua wet food is excellent for my little fluff-monster. He always woofs it down and is ever sprite with energy, a lovely coat and good hard butt-nuggets. I switch it up with Roy Canin dry dog food in the evenings which he also crunches through, I swear this is why he has no dental issues! After exhaustive online reading of ‘the best food for your dog’, ‘what vets say is the top 5 dog foods’, ‘Which best dog foods’ sites, I decided on Royal Canin and haven’t looked back.

My Chihuahua likes and tolerates the food very well. It’s not "cheap", but I don’t feed him exclusively this food; I also use food from another brand. Combining them ensures a certain variety. Additionally, he also gets the dry food from the same brand. It’s important to me that my dog doesn’t suffer from deficiencies or overfeeding, but is fed healthily.
