We have to cheat...

While our Old English Mastiff lady is very picky when it comes to food, our Mastiff gentleman absolutely loves Royal Canin Giant. We've now switched him to Giant Adult, while for her, we mix in a bit of wet food meant for the cat. The digestibility is excellent, the piles are massive – but our Mastiffs currently weigh (Junior) 60 kg and (Adult) 95 kg – so that's probably to be expected. The vet is happy, and we're sticking with it.

Ashba the Great Dane loves this food.

Best food

I’ve had a 13-month-old German Mastiff from a second-hand home since April. When he came to us, his coat was dull, and he had constant diarrhoea. We immediately started feeding him Royal Canin, as we had good experiences with it for our previous Mastiff. His coat is now soft and shiny. His stools are normal. I had stool and blood tests done, and everything is perfect—he’s digesting it really well. I had the tests done because there are many people who speak negatively about Royal Canin. For my Mastiff, it’s the best food!
