Purina HA dog food is a tasty dry food to combat food allergies. Made with single hydrolysed protein and purified carbohydrates to avoid allergic reactions. Enriched with healthy omega 3 fatty acids.
Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets Canine HA Hypoallergenic is a complete dry food formulated to help dogs that suffer from food allergies. Food allergies often cause skin or digestive system irritation. You might notice that your dog is itching a lot, or has skin redness or infections. Maybe it has frequent bouts of vomiting or diarrhoea. Your vet will try to establish whether your dog is suffering from a food allergy. This often involves an elimination diet – a diet which avoids provoking a response.
Pro Plan Veterinary Diets Canine HA Hypoallergenic is not only a great tasting exclusion diet, it can help to nutritionally manage food allergies. Canine HA Hypoallergenic contains only a single hydrolysed protein which helps to avoid allergic reactions. The purified carbohydrates also reduce the risk of allergic reactions and it is enriched with omega 3 fatty acids which support natural anti-inflammatory processes. This hypoallergenic diet provides your dog with all the nutrients it needs to stay healthy while avoiding ingredients which could trigger an allergic reaction. Pro Plan HA Hypoallergenic is suitable for dogs of all ages including puppies. It is highly palatable and easy to digest so it is also suitable for dogs with inflammatory bowel disease or severe bowel conditions.

Feeding guide
Feeding recommendation for dry food in g/day (adult maintenance):
Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets Canine HA Hypoallergenic is a complete dry dog food. The recommended feeding amounts are for adult dogs. They are only guidelines and should be adapted to suit the individual needs of your pet to ensure that it maintains an ideal body weight. Please ask your vet for feeding guidelines or if you have any other queries.
It is very important that you only feed your dog the recommended diet. No table scraps, milk, treats, or supplements should be fed, unless directed by your vet, as they can trigger an allergic reaction.
Please make sure that your pet always has fresh drinking water available.
After consultation with your vet you should mix an increasing amount of new food with a decreasing amount of the old food over a period of 7 days until you are feeding your pet only with the new food.

My little JRT struggles with allergies and we have tried raw food, homemade food and a huge number of different dried kibble (grain free and grain inclusive). The Hydrolysed pro plan has had amazing results for him in just two weeks! No itching and he absolutely loves the food when previously he always just picked all day long. Now he eats the whole bowl as soon as we put it down. Our non allergic dog is also on it and she loves it too!

Great for pancreatitis sufferers
My dog suddenly began suffering with pancreatitis. 6 weeks on this food and he is fine now. It is very boring and my dog doesn't really like it much. It is very dry, so I use a meatless gravy to moisten it and give it some flavour.

Worked like a miracle after Pancreatitis diagnosis
Our 2YO Doodle was incredibly poorly at the start of the year with pancreatitis. 6 weeks on another prescription wet food he was not getting better! We then saw a specialist who suggested Purina HA, gave use some to try the day of lockdown then we sourced some from here. What an absolute turn around in just 3 days. I can honestly say 3 months on his energy has never been so good and his coat is beautiful. We even mix it with a little water to form a dough and bake biscuits for him out of it

Better than expected!
My young dog became unwell and was diagnosed with IBD in December 2019 her stomach and intestines were very inflamed. Once a diagnosis was reached the vet recommended Purina Pro Plan HA to feed her, and only that, no treats or wet food. He said it would give her stomach a chance to heal. He was right. She quickly regained the weight she had lost and is full of energy. Highly recommend this product.

Pancreatitis diagnosis
This food was recommended by our vet following my dogs two Pancreatitis attacks. He enjoyed it from the start although it took him a few weeks to feel full after meals. He’s plenty of energy and his coat looks amazing so after seven weeks I am really pleased we changed to this food. Highly recommend, thanks Purina

Very noisy tummy diahorrea and expensive vet referral bills
My 8 year old yorkie was very poorly a few months ago with diahorrea, vomiting and a growling stomach. It got so bad when he had dark blood in his poo that he was referred to a specialist vets. After many tests which were inconclusive he was put on this food and absolutely nothing else including treats he’s been fine since. Also put my other dog with problem diahorrea on it and all cleared up. Very good product.

Top quality, life-saving food
Several years ago my lurcher became very poorly with immune-mediated inflammatory bowel disease. I tried many different foods on the advice of specialists but nothing worked until I found Purina HA. My dog also has immune-mediated polyarthritis. He loves his food, always cleans his dish, has had no recurrence of his bowel symptoms since eating this food, is super fit and agile, walks miles every day, has a beautiful shiny coat and bright eyes, and is 14 years old. What more can i say.

Woofed down in seconds
My dog was prescribed this as she has tummy problems and I was concerned that she would take to it. However she loves it and the size of the kibble means it is easy to use as training treats and for activity toys too.

Great for dog with gastro intestional problem
Can thoroughly recommend this food as it's low fat. Tried loads of others but this one seems to suit my boxer.

So far so good...
My 3 yr old Labradoodle has developed an allergy which had made her quite scratchy together with digestive issues. She has taken to this food and eats it all, and she can be picky about her food. It seems to have resolved the digestive problem and reduced the itchiness, (in conjunction with other treatment).
I would be happy to recommend this food.

Duz the Biz
After more than two years of terrible grumbling tums, blood stained diarrhoea and vomiting and trying all sorts of diets and treatments, including steroids, my vet suggested this diet. My boxer bitch has multiple food allergies and environmental allergies and this food has stopped the tummy rumbles, diarrhoea and sickness.. I certainly would recommend it.
